Arkansas senior LB De’Jon Harris has accepted an invitation to play in the East-West Shrine Bowl.
Harris (6'0/245), a second team all-SEC selection by the Associated Press in both 2017 and 2018, has been one of the few brights spots in what has been a very disappointing season for the Razorbacks. Through ten games the senior linebacker has accounted for 82 total tackles (39 solo, 3.5 for loss), two fumble recoveries, one forced fumble and two quarterback hurries. WalterFootball.com draft analyst Charlie Campbell ranked Harris 12th among draft-eligible inside linebackers in his most recent position rankings in mid-November, noting his ability to defend the run as one of Harris’ strengths.
