Georgia sophomore CB Tyson Campbell was not seen at Monday’s practice session, according to Seth Emerson of The Athletic.
Campbell (6'2/180) was expected to be “fine,” according to HC Kirby Smart, after suffering a foot injury two weeks ago, but he has yet to fully return to action. Per Emerson, the starting CB was not seen during the portion of Georgia’s practice that was open to the media on Monday. Holding Campbell out may simply be a precaution considering the Bulldogs should steamroll Tennessee on Saturday regardless, but it is at least a bit concerning that Campbell does not yet seem ready to play. Campbell has three passes defended in as many appearances in 2019.
