Edwards (6'6/308) was a high school quarterback who made himself an integral part of the Badgers’ offensive line. A third-team All American in 2017, Edwards’ 2018 was hampered then ended prematurely by a shoulder issue. An ordinary athlete who is not lauded for his technique, Edwards is a project coming from a school that usually pumps out finished products along the offensive line.

Diggs can earn up to $5 million on his new contract and rejoins former Seahawks teammate Jamal Adams in the Music City. Last season, Diggs totaled 95 tackles, one interception, and five pass breakups while starting all 17 games he appeared in. Diggs has played in and started every regular-season game over the last four seasons and earned a PFF coverage grade of 55.4 on over 1,100 defensive snaps.

Team Community Producer, Justis Mosqueda, whose 2023 Family Night and preseason snap counts helped Mosqueda effectively project last year’s regular season starting lineup. Doubs will be a fantasy-draft-day steal if the trend holds.

The 6-foot-6, 231-pound Wilson averaged 2.90 yards per route run across his two seasons at Florida State. He profiles as a size-speed-matchup nightmare when lined up against slot cornerbacks and safeties.

The imaging reportedly ruled out a fracture, though a firm return-to-play timeline was not given. The injury comes at an inopportune time, as preseason play is critical for rookie-season development. The incident gives WR Jonathan Mingo breathing room following his own 2023 rookie season flop.

Nacua reportedly left the practice field “a little over [an hour] into it after a team drills period” before returning to the sideline, wearing his uniform and helmet, with the ice bag in tow. Per Rodrigue, “Sean McVay says he is ‘not sure’ what happened.” The team will undoubtedly play things extremely conservatively with their star player. It is a situation to monitor closely, though panic is currently unwarranted.

Initial reports indicated Shaheed would return to practice on Sunday after a precautionary rest day on Saturday. His unexpected Sunday absence makes this a situation to monitor moving forward as Shaheed is expected to assume the Saints’ No. 2 WR role this year. Shaheed dazzled as a 2023 first-team All-Pro and Pro Bowl returner. He efficiently averaged 1.95 yards per route run on offense through his first two NFL seasons.

Garibay produced a 92.9 percent field goal conversion rate with the UFL’s Arlington Renegades this season, the second-best average among UFL kickers. The Packers are searching for a reliable leg after 2023 kicker Anders Carlson converted just 81.0 percent of his field goal attempts, ranking eighth-worst among NFL kickers with at least 18 field goal attempts.

Allen’s career includes a 2021 Pro Bowl-alternate nod, a Super Bowl LVI victory and various season-ending injuries. He most recently earned a 79.8 PFF pass-blocking grade on just 34 regular season snaps in 2023. If healthy, Allen could contribute in a rotational capacity but his brief injured reserve stint, followed by a quick release after his late-July injury, bodes poorly for his 2024 season.

Knox’s return-to-play date is unknown but the “vet rest” labeling indicates the injury is not serious. McDermott also called WR Chase Claypool (toe) and RB Ty Johnson (hamstring) day-to-day. Both players have been sidelined since at least July 30th. Claypool is fighting to join the Bills’ evolving wide receiver rotation while Johnson attempts to fend off fourth-round rookie RB Ray Davis. Johnson’s injury could prove costly in this regard.

Luton has not logged a regular season snap since playing three games as a 2020 sixth-round rookie. Although the severity of Dalton’s injury is currently unknown, the Panthers front office likely would have taken more drastic measures if it was considered serious.
