Arkansas senior LB De’Jon Harris has been ruled for the remainder of spring practice due to a slight fracture in his foot.
Per Razorbacks HC Chad Morris, Harris has been living with this injury for some time, dating back to last season. The 6-foot, 245-pound senior will undergo surgery to have a screw placed in his foot. While he will sit this spring, Harris is not expected to be out for an extended amount of time. Morris indicated that he should be ready to take part in football activities in May. Harris has been working as a starter for each of the past two campaigns while racking up at least 115 tackles in each of those seasons. We’ll keep an eye on his recovery from surgery, but it doesn’t sound like the foot procedure should have any impact on his availability for August camp barring unforeseen complication.
