Washington redshirt junior WR Andre Baccellia caught 12 passes for 109 yards in a 28-23 loss to Ohio State on Tuesday in the Rose Bowl.
An awesome end to the year for Baccellia, who also snagged eight passes in the Pac-12 championship game. Most of it was of the short variety, but short passes are what the Huskies do under Jake Browning. Next year, the (much much much) stronger arm of Jacob Eason takes over, and while he may not have Browning’s command of the offense or accuracy, his weapons-grade arm should help Baccellia, Aaron Fuller and Hunter Bryant make deeper receptions in 2019.
