  • NYJ Cornerback #31

Georgia Tech signed four-star 2017 CB Tre Swilling.
Swilling made an initial commitment to the Yellow Jackets this past August before taking the plunge for good. Rivals ranks him as the No. 31 cornerback prospect in the 2017 class, while Scout.com notes that the 6-foot, 185-pounder consistently showcased a high level of football intelligence at Brother Martin (Louisiana). As the Scout team puts it, Swilling “seems to see things before they happen and he knows how to put himself into place to make a play.”
  • NYJ Tackle #74

Olu Fashanu has been ruled out for the rest of Week 16 with a foot injury.
The Jets rookie was taken into the locker room on a cart and immediately ruled out, which is not a good sign. The left tackle has been tremendous for the Jets this season, allowing just one sack on the season. The fact that he was ruled out so quickly is a bad sign for the remainder of the season, and you just hope there are no longer-term ramifications.
  • ATL Wide Receiver #5
Drake London was forced from Atlanta’s Week 16 game against the Giants with a hamstring injury and is questionable to return.
London is questionable, but seeing as it is 31-7 in the fourth quarter, he won’t be back. New starter Michael Penix is throwing a beautiful ball, but London had a modest five grabs for 59 yards before going down. Drew Lock has thrown two pick-sixes, limiting the Falcons’ play volume and scoring potential. London, who was already gutting through recent knee and hip issues, could end up legitimately questionable for Week 17 game against the Commanders.
  • NE Safety #5
Patriots declared S Jabrill Peppers (hamstring) inactive for Week 16 against the Bills.
The Patriots also declared CB Marcus Jones, G Tyrese Robinson, OL Lecitus Smith, QB Joe Milton III (3rd QB) and RB JaMycal Hasty inactive. Peppers and Jones are notable losses for the Patriots’ starting DB group. Fellow starting S Kyle Dugger (ankle/illness) will suit up after practicing in a limited capacity on Thursday and Friday. The Bills’ passing offense should still be able to pick on the Patriots’ short-staffed secondary though.
  • ARI Running Back #6
James Conner was forced from Arizona’s Week 16 game against the Panthers with a knee injury and is questionable to return.
Conner twisted up on a third quarter tackle attempt. He spent several minutes trying to stretch it out on the sideline but could be seen grimacing. He was then declared questionable. Conner is still walking around but is sans helmet. It is sadly looking like his afternoon is through after he took the rock 15 times for 117 yards and a score. He also added four receptions for 49 yards. Fantasy managers will take it, but it could have been so much more. Michael Carter appears to be the next man up with Trey Benson and Emari Demercado sidelined.
  • SEA Running Back #9
Ken Walker III (calf) is active for Week 16 against the Vikings.
Walker will return to the Seattle lineup after missing three games with a calf injury. He’ll likely share the backfield workload with Zach Charbonnet, who’s been impressive as the team’s lead back over the past few games. Both Walker and Charbonnet are top-30 running back option in Week 16. The Seahawks declared CB Nehemiah Pritchett, TE Brady Russell, LB Patrick O’Connell, OT Michael Jerrell, WR Cody White, and QB Jaren Hall inactive for Week 16 against the Vikings.
  • MIN Safety #22
Vikings declared S Harrison Smith, CB Fabian Moreau, TE Nick Muse, DL Jalen Redmond, C Dan Feeney, T Walter Rouse, and QB Brett Rypien inactive for Week 16 against the Seahawks.
Smith will miss his first game since the 2022 season with a foot injury that kept him sidelined during practice in recent days. It’s a small setback for a Vikings defense giving up the second lowest EPA per play in 2024. Minnesota will also be without Moreau against a struggling Seattle passing offense.
  • NYJ Cornerback #1
Sauce Gardner is questionable to return to Week 16 with a hamstring injury.
Gardner missed Week 14 with a hamstring injury and was on the injury report leading up to Week 15 before being able to suit up. With near-freezing temperatures in New Jersey on Sunday, the Jets may be being cautious with their young quarterback, but Gardner is on the bench without a helmet and bundled up under a big jacket. Safety Tony Adams is also questionable to return to the game with an ankle injury. Those would be big losses for an already depleted Jets defense.
  • BUF Safety #9
Bills declared S Taylor Rapp (neck) inactive for Week 16 against the Patriots.
The Bills also declared S Damar Hamlin, CB Rasul Douglas, LB Matt Milano, WR Curtis Samuel, DT DeWayne Carter and T Tylan Grable inactive. The Bills’ defense will be without both starting safeties, its No. 2 perimeter CB and its lynchpin LB. The Patriots’ offense should be able to provide at least a few usable fantasy outings in this one.
  • SF Tackle #71
49ers declared LT Trent Williams, QB Joshua Dobbs, RB Isaac Guerendo, TE Jake Tonges, DL Khalil Davis, CB Rock Ya-Sin, and DL Robert Beal Jr. active for Week 16 against the Dolphins.
Williams is inching toward being done for the year as the 49ers’ playoff odds approach zero and his ankle issue fails to get much better. Guerendo was ruled out earlier in the week, meaning Patrick Taylor will draw the start at running back.
  • LV Cornerback #39
Raiders declared CB Nate Hobbs, QB Carter Bradley, CB Sam Webb, DT Matthew Butler, LB Kana’i Mauga and G Jordan Meredith inactive for Week 16 against the Jaguars.
Hobbs was questionable due to illness, and the 25-year-old defender won’t be able to go for this ever-so-crucial contest against the Jaguars. Bradley will operate as the emergency quarterback behind Aidan O’Connell and Desmond Ridder.
