Stanford four-star LB Curtis Robinson said, “I knew that Stanford provided the best opportunity for me to succeed [on and off the field].”
“It’s good to have it signed, sealed and delivered,” Robinson said on National Signing Day. While he received offers from 22 schools, the Cardinal were far-and-away his front-runner. The 6-foot-3, 208-pounder earned All-Orange County honors for his 2015 season at Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana. ESPN 300 ranks him as their No. 248 prospect for the 2016 cycle.
  • LAR Wide Receiver #10

Rams general manager Les Snead said WR Cooper Kupp returning “would be the least likely” scenario.
When asked about Kupp returning to the Rams for next season, Snead said, “There is a scenario, but when you get into probabilities that would be the least likely.” The Rams have been trying to find a trade partner for the 31-year-old but are still exploring options. Kupp is set to make $29.7 million next season, a number that is too big for the Rams and is likely a thorn in trade negotiations with other teams. He has still been a productive receiver, but Puka Nacua has become the alpha in the Rams offense. Expect the team to continue to look for a trade partner for Kupp, though if nothing works out, he could return through some contract re-negotiation.
  • ATL Quarterback #18
Mike Garafolo said he expects Kirk Cousins to wait until after the 2025 NFL draft to request a trade.
Cousins is currently penciled in as the Falcons’ No. 2 QB behind Michael Penix Jr. and Garafolo expects Cousins will wait until the 2025 NFL draft’s conclusion before asking the Falcons to trade him to a specific team. Last year, Cousins expected to be the unquestioned starter in Atlanta but the Falcons instead spent the No. 8 overall pick on Penix, who eventually replaced Cousins in-season. Cousins does not want to repeat that scenario again in 2025 and will likely wield his no-trade clause to that end, until he can identify a cozy landing spot.
  • SEA Linebacker #13
Seattle Times’ Bob Condotta reports Seahawks LB Ernest Jones IV had offseason knee surgery.
Jones reportedly had knee surgery to clean up knee issues he was having last season. He is a pending free agent that the Seahawks have interest in re-signing but physicals post-surgery may slow down Jones’ free agency process. The 25-year-old tallied 138 combined tackles, four tackles for loss, four passes defended, and an interception playing for the Titans and Seahawks last season. Jones became a key starter at linebacker down the stretch and Seattle may not want to let him leave by the time free agency rolls around.
  • Center #52
Brian Allen retired after six seasons in the NFL.
Allen was a key starter at center for a Rams team that won Super Bowl LVI. Initially picked in the fourth round of the 2018 draft out of Michigan State, Allen became a full time starter in 2019. He sat out the 2020 season due to injury, but started 16 games in 2021. Named a Pro Bowl alternate that season, Allen instead went to the Super Bowl and won with the Rams. Injuries would derail his next two seasons in Los Angeles, eventually getting released last year. He spent last offseason with the Browns, but did not play in 2024 after suffering a calf injury and getting released. Allen comes away from his six-year career with a ring and the 29-year-old now heads into retirement.
  • LAR Cornerback #6
    Rams waived CB Tre Tomlinson.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter notes that Tomlinson won the 2022 Jim Thorpe Award, given to college football’s top defensive back. Tomlinson played sparingly as a 2023 rookie and dealt with late-season injury issues. He was placed on the 2024 injured reserve list after suffering an undisclosed, season-ending preseason injury. Hopefully, a fresh start can revitalize a once-promising career.
  • FA Tight End #43
Chargers tendered exclusive rights free agent TE Tucker Fisk.
As an exclusive rights free agent, the Chargers were Fisk’s only option. He began his career as an undrafted free agent for the Falcons in 2023 before heading to the Chargers for 2024. Fisk appeared in nine games last season, catching seven passes for 39 yards as the Chargers dealt with injuries to the tight end room. The 26-year-old will compete to be a factor in the Chargers offense for 2025.
  • NO Center #78
Beat reporter Nick Underhill reports “Erik McCoy is restructuring his contract” as the Saints work “to get under the cap.”
Per OverTheCap, the Saints are still more than $46 million over the cap but the team’s star center is willing to do his part, presumably in exchange for a nice bonus. McCoy is coming off an injury-dampened season, having dealt with both groin and shoulder issues. He should be good to go for 2025 though.
  • MIA Linebacker #2
FOX Sports’ Jordan Schultz reports that Dolphins LB Bradley Chubb has agreed to a reduced base salary to remain with the team.
Chubb missed the entirety of the 2024 NFL season after tearing his ACL, patellar tendon and meniscus in 2023. The restructure reduces his base salary but keeps his prior contract’s full earnings potential of $21 million intact via “various playtime and sack incentives.”
  • NYJ Tackle #78
NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo reports Jets OT Morgan Moses “was given a clean bill of health from the Jets’ medical staff.”
As Garafolo notes, Moses played through a Grade 2 MCL sprain last year. Moses missed some time early in the year because of the injury but ultimately pushed through it for much of the remainder of the season. Moses will officially be a free agent next week unless the Jets make a last-second move to keep him around. Even at 34 years old, the career right tackle should have some suitors on the open market.
  • WAS Defensive Tackle #93
The Athletic’s Michael Silver reports that Commanders DT Jonathan Allen will “likely be released in a cost-cutting move” if the team cannot find a trade partner.
Allen suffered a partially torn pectoral muscle in Week 6 and successfully returned in Week 17, following in-season surgery. He recorded 13 QB pressures and 1.0 NFL sacks from Week 17 through the NFC Championship Game against the Eagles. His late-season performance is highlighted by a Divisional Round showing against the Lions in which he racked up seven QB pressures. The 30-year-old should quickly sign a short-term deal with a contender, if released.
