Jets waived or released OLB Ricky Sapp, WR Joseph Collins, CB Donnie Fletcher, CB LeQuan Lewis, OL Paul Cornick, OL Fred Koloto, DB Julian Posey, DL Jay Richardson, TE Tarren Lloyd, WR Eron Riley, DL Damon Harrison, DL Martin Tevaseu, DB D’Anton Lynn, LB Marcus Dowtin, QB Matt Simms, P Spencer Lanning and OL Matt Kroul.
Sapp had been limited by a high ankle sprain this month. The oft-injured 2010 fifth-round Eagles pick is a candidate for the practice squad, along with Harrison and Dowtin. As of now, the Jets plan on keeping FB John “The Terminator” Connor despite a poor camp.
  • TEN Wide Receiver #83

ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reports the Titans are optimistic Tyler Boyd (back) will play in Week 11 against the Vikings.
Boyd was added to the injury report over the weekend with a back issue and is now officially questionable for Week 11. Boyd has been playing behind veteran receiver Nick Westbrook-Ikhine in recent weeks and hasn’t drawn a target since Week 8. He is not on the fantasy radar versus the Vikings.
  • NO Center #78
NewOrleans.Football’s Nick Underhill reports Saints C Erik McCoy (groin) will be active for Week 11 against the Browns.
McCoy has been sidelined since Week 3 because of the groin injury. He underwent surgery and was placed on injured reserve shortly after going down with the injury. McCoy returned to practice last week but was listed as doubtful. The Saints listed him as questionable this time around after the veteran lineman got in a full practice on Friday. He is good to go for Week 11.
  • CIN Tackle #75
NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports Bengals LT Orlando Brown Jr. (knee/fibula) is not expected to play in Week 11 against the Chargers.
Brown has missed two games with the combo injury and is now expected to sit for a third. He was listed as questionable after bookending a Thursday limited practice with two DNPs this week. Cody Ford will continue to hold down his spot at left tackle versus the Chargers this week.
  • SF Tackle #71
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports 49ers LT Trent Williams “believes he can play” in Week 11 against the Seahawks.
Per Schefter, the 49ers are more optimistic that Williams will play compared to George Kittle, who is reportedly unlikely to suit up this week. Williams will still need to get the final go-ahead after pre-game warmups, but the Pro Bowl left tackle is on track to play. Missing multiple key starters already, the 49ers cannot afford to lose another as they prepare to take on their NFC West rival Seahawks.
  • HOU Defensive End #51
Texans EDGE Will Anderson (ankle) will not play in Week 11 against the Cowboys.
Anderson missed Week 10 with the ankle issue and has yet to return to practice. He was ruled out over the weekend. The reigning DPOY has 7.5 sacks and 11 TFLs this year. The loss of Anderson is a notable blow to Houston’s defense, though we don’t expect it to turn things around for the Cooper Rush-led Cowboys this week.
  • PIT Running Back #30
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports Jaylen Warren (back) is expected to play in Week 11 against the Ravens.
Warren was added to the injury report on Thursday and got a questionable tag after a limited session on Friday. He has dealt with multiple injuries this year already and has yet to look like the uber-explosive backup fantasy managers drafted him to be. With the back issue likely capping his touches and hindering his efficiency, Warren sits near the back of the RB3 ranks versus Baltimore.
  • SF Tight End #85
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports George Kittle is unlikely to play in Week 11 against the Seahawks.
Kittle got in a pair of limited practices before being listed as questionable for Week 11 on Friday. Per Schefter, the team is still going to have Kittle test out the hamstring issue in pre-game warmups before ruling him out, but fantasy managers should not count on having the TE1 overall this week. Schefter noted that this is not believed to be a long-term issue for Kittle. He previously missed Week 3 with a hamstring injury. Eric Saubert drew the start but only saw two targets. He caught both for 41 yards. Saubert is barely a TE2 for Week 11.
  • JAX Head Coach
NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports Jaguars coach Doug Pederson could be fired as soon as this week.
The same is apparently true of GM Trent Baalke. Mired at a 2-8 record, the Jags are two-touchdown underdogs vs. the Lions on Sunday. “Based on several conversations, while Jaguars staffers are still working and grinding, there is a pall permeating the situation,” Rapoport said. “A doom.” It’s not hard to see why. Pederson’s style has gone stale even faster in Jacksonville than it did in Philadelphia. The 56-year-old seems to get too easily out-schemed on Sundays, and the locker room vibes that have leaked out to the public seem rancid. Yet another Jags regime change is a matter of when, not if.
  • TEN Wide Receiver #83
Titans WR Tyler Boyd (back) was added to the injury report Saturday and is listed as questionable for Week 11.
Boyd popped up on the injury report Saturday and is listed as questionable with a back injury for the team’s Week 11 game against the Vikings. Boyd has not drawn a target in the previous two games while operating as the third option through the air behind Calvin Ridley and Nick Westbrook-Ikhine.
  • SF Defensive End #94
49ers activated DE Yetur Gross-Matos from injured reserve.
Gross-Matos has been sidelined since Week 5 with a knee injury that required a stint on injured reserve. Now a situational player for the San Francisco defense, Gross-Matos should return to a modest role in clear passing situations for a 49ers team looking to make a second half push for the playoffs.
