  • PHI Center #63
Michigan C David Molk says he’s “completely healed” from the ankle injury suffered in the Sugar Bowl against Virginia Tech.
The Rimington Trophy winner was able to perform drills at his personal pro day earlier in the week. Although the highly opinionated Molk adamantly insists he’s the best center in the draft, he’s often ranked third behind Wisconsin’s Peter Konz and Ohio State’s Michael Brewster or Georgia’s Ben Jones.
  • TEN Running Back #2
Tyjae Spears is active for the Titans in Week 3 against the Packers.
There had been some concern that Spears would miss time after he sprained his ankle in last week’s loss to the Jets, but he’s back out there on Sunday. It wouldn’t be a surprise to see his workload dialed down slightly if he’s operating at less than 100 percent, and the likely close game script could mean more rushing work for Tony Pollard. That makes Spears more of a risky FLEX option in deeper formats.
  • NYG Quarterback #15
The Giants declared QB Tommy DeVito, G Jake Kubas, CB Tre Hawkins, OLB Benton Whitley, OLB Boogie Basham, S Anthony Johnson and CB Nick McCloud inactive for Week 3 against the Browns.
It’s a relatively quiet week for the Giants injury report. Brian Burns is active. Tommy DeVito will serve as the emergency third QB.
  • NYG Linebacker #0
Brian Burns (groin) is active for Week 3 against the Browns.
Burns popped up on the injury report Friday with a groin injury, but still got in a limited practice. He’s good to go against Deshaun Watson and the Browns in Week 3.
  • TEN Linebacker #42
Titans declared DB Julius Wood, RB Jabari Small, OLB Caleb Murphy, LB James Williams, OL John Ojukwu, TE David Martin-Robinson, and TE Thomas Odukoya inactive for Week 3 against the Packers.
Nothing noteworthy here other than a name that isn’t here since Tyjae Spears is active and will play on Sunday.
  • Bucs declared S Antoine Winfield Jr., TE Devin Culp, OT Luke Goedeke, WR Kameron Johnson, DL Calijah Kancey, EDGE Jose Ramirez and DL Vita Vea inactive for Week 3 against the Broncos.
The Bucs are majorly banged up on defense, but the Broncos are the right team to be short-handed against. Battling through a foot injury, Winfield seems no better than 50-50 to be back for Week 4.
  • MIN Wide Receiver #3
Vikings declared WR Jordan Addison, CB Dwight McGlothern, ILB Ivan Pace, DE Levi Drake Rodriguez, T Walter Rouse, QB Brett Rypien, and OLB Dallas Turner inactive for Week 3 against the Texans.
Addison will miss a second straight game after suffering a serious ankle injury on an illegal hip drop tackle in Week 1. That should position Jalen Nailor as the Vikings’ No. 2 wideout behind Justin Jefferson. Nailor in Week 2 against the Niners caught three of four targets for 54 yards and a touchdown.
  • GB Quarterback #10
Packers declared QB Jordan Love inactive for Week 3 against the Titans.
The original timeline for Love’s knee injury was three or four weeks, but the Packers had expressed optimism that he might be able to return on Sunday. It was potentially just gamesmanship, but Love did return to limited practice and could return for Week 4. It will be Malik Willis under center against the Titans in Week 3. The Packers also declared DE Brenton Cox, OT Travis Glover, OT Jordan Morgan. FS Kitan Oladapo, CB Carrington Valentine, and DT Colby Wooden inactive for Week 3.
  • LAC Wide Receiver #5
Chargers WR Joshua Palmer (calf/elbow) will not play in Week 3 against the Steelers.
Palmer was a DNP in practice all week and was always trending toward missing Week 3 despite being listed as questionable heading into the weekend. His absence should open the door for Quentin Johnston and Ladd McConkey to have busy weeks. In addition to Palmer, the Chargers also declared LB Junior Colson, CB Tarheeb Still, RB Kimani Vidal, OL Jordan McFadden, and DL Justin Eboigbe inactive for Week 3.
  • Eagles S C.J. Gardner-Johnson (foot) is active for Week 3 against the Saints.
A.J. Brown is the only Philly player inactive because of an injury this week and he was ruled out on Friday. Gardner-Johnson was added to the injury report on Thursday as a DNP. He also missed Friday’s session before being listed as questionable. It’s possible he plays on a pitch count this week. Inactive for the Eagles are LB Devin White, CB Eli Ricks, DT Byron Young, OL Trevor Keegan, OL Darian Kinnard, and QB Tanner McKee.
  • PIT Wide Receiver #10
Steelers declared WR Roman Wilson, S Terrell Edmunds, TE MyCole Pruitt, CB Darius Rush, OG Isaac Seumalo, and QB Russell Wilson inactive for Week 3 against the Chargers.
Wilson was removed from the team’s final injury report but won’t suit up for Sunday’s contest. The rookie third-rounder has yet to make his debut after battling through an ankle injury he suffered in training camp and was a full participant in Friday’s practice. It’s possible the Steelers are looking to see a few more practices out of him before thrusting him into live action. We’ll see where he stands come Week 4 when the Steelers take on the Colts.
