According to Around The NFL staffers, Parsons attended voluntary workouts earlier this month. Whether he will be present for next week’s workouts, scheduled for June 2nd, 3rd and 5th, is unknown. Parsons is seeking a market-setting contract as he enters the final year of his rookie deal. Though the current team activities are voluntary, the Cowboys would undoubtedly prefer to have Parsons there, as they attempt to foster a winning culture in Schottenheimer’s inaugural head coaching season.

Hendrickson is in search of a new contract and has already said he won’t play on his current deal. The Bengals have been playing hardball with him over an extension, seemingly for years, and now they could be without the 2024 sack leader for the upcoming season because of their stubbornness. Hendrickson has spoken publicly about his frustration over the negotiations and the relationship appears to be all but ruined. Losing Hendrickson would take Cincy’s defense from bad to worse a year after they gave up the eighth-most points in the NFL.

LaFleur made it clear he was just guessing, adding, “But I’m not a doctor. I’m not medical staff. So, we’ll see where he’s at.” Watson, who tore his ACL in Week 18 last season, opened Wednesday’s OTA practice on the field while the team was stretching before moving over to the rehab field. Earlier this month, Watson said he’s “got a couple more months” ahead of him, presumably referring to his recovery. A stint on the PUP list to start training camp seems likely for Watson. His return will probably be in play at some point in late October or early November.

Steichen said he will flip-flop the reps between his quarterbacks and reiterated that it’s an “open competition” for the starting gig. Nothing here is breaking news. The Colts have used the “open competition” phrase previously, and Steichen already said he plans for both quarterbacks to get equal time with the starters throughout the offseason. Still, it’s important to note that the coaches are sticking to the party line so far, even if the front office would likely prefer Richardson to be the starter. Richardson is an elite fantasy option when under center, but the leash will be incredibly short if he struggles early. That is, of course, if he even beats out Jones for the job ahead of Week 1.

McLaurin was not present as the Commanders began their offseason training program. At this point, the workouts are voluntary, so his absence is not meaningful yet. However, it is important to note that the 29-year-old is entering the final season of his contract. Headed for a cap hit of $25.5 million this season with a base salary of $15.5 million, McLaurin will be looking for a long-term extension. Earlier this offseason, Commanders general manager Adam Peters said the team hoped to give the veteran receiver a new deal. After reeling in a career-high 13 touchdowns last season as Jayden Daniels’ No. 1 target, McLaurin is not in holdout territory yet but his extension talks with the Commanders will be key to watch.

Neuzil’s contract includes $6.25 million guaranteed. The 27-year-old has spent the past three seasons with the Falcons as a former undrafted free agent. After starting eight games for Atlanta’s offensive line last season, Neuzil entered restricted free agency this offseason. He now returns to the Falcons with a two-year contract to enter the season as the team’s starting center.
