Lorenzo Booker played just two snaps in last week’s loss to the Raiders despite Adrian Peterson’s first-half injury.
The Vikings clearly don’t trust Booker. Toby Gerhart racked up 39 snaps last week and Percy Harvin will be used as his change-of-pace back while Peterson is sidelined.

Rams re-signed QB Jimmy Garoppolo to a one-year, $11 million contract.
That’s ... a lot of money for Garoppolo in 2025. After ludicrous talk that the Rams could turn to Jimmy G as starter were Matthew Stafford to move on, sanity has prevailed with Stafford reworking his contract and Garoppolo returning as the backup. Jimmy G is only 33, but he looks much older in the pocket. A potential Stafford injury would be a grim situation, but maybe Garoppolo is more healed up from years of injuries than we would guess. He would undoubtedly be efficient in Sean McVay’s offense if he could remain on the field. He’s not a bad backup from that perspective. It’s just the durability woes.
  • JAX Cornerback #2
Jaguars agreed to terms with CB Jourdan Lewis, formerly of the Cowboys, on a three-year contract.
Lewis had a huge bounceback season in 2024, with a career-best 79.0 PFF coverage grade in 871 snaps for the Cowboys. It’ll be interesting to see if the Jaguars leave him in the slot, where he has played most of the last two years in Dallas. Jacksonville’s primary slot corner last year was 2024 third-rounder Jarrian Jones, with Tyson Campbell and Montaric Brown outside. It’s possible Lewis shifts Jones into a competition with Brown outside.
  • NE Linebacker #41
Patriots agreed to terms with LB Robert Spillane, formerly of the Raiders, to a contract.
Spillane is a standout linebacker and former UDFA from the 2018 class. The 29-year-old became a full-time starter with the Raiders after joining them in 2023, starting in 34 games over the last two years while racking up 306 tackles, 5.5 sacks, 17 TFLs, and five interceptions. Spillane becomes the latest linebacker to join Mike Vrabel and the Patriots, who also signed Harold Landry to a three-year deal over the weekend.
  • WAS Defensive Tackle #54
Commanders agreed to terms with DT Javon Kinlaw, formerly of the Jets, to a three-year, $45 million contract.
Kinlaw will get $30 million in guaranteed money on this deal. A former 49er who was drafted No. 14 overall in 2020 reunites with general manager Adam Peters, who has already added two former 49ers to the roster this offseason. Kinlaw signed a one-year deal with the Jets last offseason and posted career highs in tackles (40) and sacks (4.5) while also posting five TFLs. Still only 27 years old, Kinlaw could make for a nice addition if he’s able to live up to the potential that once made him a top pick in the draft.
  • CIN Defensive Tackle #92
    Bengals re-signed DT B.J. Hill to a three-year, $33 million contract.
$16 million of this is guaranteed per Adam Schefter. Hill has played for the Bengals the last four years and been a relatively stable piece inside, notching PFF defensive grades between 67.7 and 70.9 over his tenure in Cincinnati. He has 21 sacks in four seasons with the Bengals. Entering his age-30 season, Hill hasn’t lost a step yet. The Bengals will hope he can hold up for (likely) at least the next two years inside.
  • KC Running Back #25
Chiefs agreed to terms with RB Elijah Mitchell, formerly of the 49ers, on a one-year contract.
The deal is worth “up to” $3.5 million. “Up to” does a lot of work during free agency, but Mitchell probably has somewhere around a $2 million base. The 27-year-old (in May) is one of the more forgotten names of the spring after yet another injury-ruined 2024, but he could end up a massive bargain if he ever managed to stay healthy. That, of course, is a poor bet, but for now Mitchell is a decent bet to serve as the No. 2 back behind Isiah Pacheco after Pacheco’s own injury-marred and unproductive campaign. Mitchell will make for a fine late-round hedge in summer best ball drafts.
  • HOU Wide Receiver #0
Texans agreed to terms with WR Braxton Berrios, formerly of the Dolphins, on a one-year, $2 million contract.
Berrios finished last year on injured reserve after suffering a major knee injury in Week 7. Interestingly, he played more outside than inside for the Dolphins last year — 61 snaps outside, 51 in the slot. He probably profiles as depth at this point in his career, entering his age-30 season. Berrios has experience as a returner and that could be the ultimate aim of this signing for the Texans.
  • CHI Center #67
Bears agreed to terms with C Drew Dalman, formerly of the Falcons, to a three-year $42 million contract.
Dalman was regarded as the top center on the market. Fox Sports’ Jordan Schultz reported over the weekend that the Bears could be a “serious suitor” for Dalman, which now proves to be true, as the fifth-year tackle joins Ben Johnson’s Bears on a three-year deal that includes $28 million in guaranteed money. The Bears have moved swiftly this offseason to tighten up their offensive line for Caleb Williams, after adding guards Jonah Jackson and Joe Thuney last week.
  • TB Wide Receiver #14
Buccaneers re-signed WR Chris Godwin to a three-year, $66 million contract.
According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Godwin left roughly $20 million on the table to sign elsewhere to return to the Bucs. The veteran receiver will receive $44 million in guaranteed money at signing, and can now focus on his return to the field following a devastating ankle injury that ended his 2024 campaign. Godwin caught 50 passes for 576 yards and five touchdowns in seven games last season, and could make for a nice value in fantasy drafts next season if he’s able to return to his old form.
  • KC Tackle #76
Chiefs agreed to terms with OT Jaylon Moore, formerly of the 49ers, on a two-year, $30 million contract.
$21.24 million is fully guaranteed at signing per ESPN’s Adam Schefter. Moore has been Trent Williams’ understudy with the 49ers for the last four years after they selected him in the fifth round of the 2021 NFL Draft. He has just 831 snaps in four years with the 49ers, but finished 2024 with a 73.1 PFF pass block rating and started five games down the stretch. This is a projection contract for Moore, but the Chiefs clearly believe there’s something here. Moore will now be penciled in as Kansas City’s left tackle, protecting Patrick Mahomes’ blindside after a tough year for the trio of D.J. Humphries, Wanya Morris, and Kingsley Suamataia. Suamataia reportedly is moving to left guard this offseason.
