  • FA Guard #79
Redskins seventh-round rookie Maurice Hurt is starting at right guard in Sunday’s game against the 49ers.
The ‘Skins are still trying to figure out how to recover from Kory Lichtensteiger’s season-ending knee injury. Hurt is a raw project that isn’t likely to be effective, but at least he allows Will Montgomery to go back to his natural center spot. The good news for Washington’s line is left tackle Trent Williams (ankle) is starting.
  • NYG Wide Receiver #86
Darius Slayton caught 8-of-11 targets for 122 yards and a touchdown in the Giants’ Week 5 win over the Seahawks
With Malik Nabers out, Slayton was the No. 1 receiver for the Giants. He saw a team-high 11 targets from Daniel Jones, catching eight for 122 yards and a score. He was the deep ball target and notably caught a 41-yard pass for the Giants’ longest pass play of the season, though he was flagged for unsportsmanlike conduct after the catch. Slayton has not been a target hog this season, but slotted into Nabers’ target-earning role for a successful fantasy day. He has a path to FLEX fantasy value if Nabers remains out for Week 6 against the Bengals.
  • ARI Tight End #85
Trey McBride caught 6-of-9 targets for 53 yards in the Cardinals’ Week 5 win over the 49ers.
The Cardinals wasted little time putting McBride to work as he ripped off a 22-yard reception on the offense’s first play of the game. He posted a conservative 5-31 line the rest of the way and could have had a bigger day if not for a dropped touchdown in the end zone on a nicely thrown pass by Kyler Murray. It wasn’t a dominant performance, but McBride did more than enough to provide fantasy managers with the weekly TE1 finish they’ve come to expect. His nine targets also led the team. McBride will remain on the TE1 radar in Week 6 against the Packers.
  • PIT Head Coach
The Sunday Night Football game between the Cowboys and Steelers is in a weather delay.
There has been no word passed regarding when kickoff will occur but both teams warmed up as usual before returning to their respective locker rooms. Fans are currently allowed to remain in their seats.
  • NYG Wide Receiver #17
Wan’Dale Robinson caught 6-of-9 targets for 36 yards and a touchdown in the Giants’ Week 5 win over the Seahawks.
Robinson continues to be an effective fantasy receiver for PPR leagues, gobbling up another nine targets with Malik Nabers out. He was still second on the team in targets, with Darius Slayton leading the way. Robinson’s high target numbers again convey into low yardage from slants and screens as he totaled 36 yards and a touchdown on the day, adding one carry for four yards. Heading into a Week 5 matchup against the Bengals, Robinson is a PPR-favorite and profiles as a fantasy WR3.
  • ARI Wide Receiver #14
Michael Wilson caught 5-of-6 targets for 78 yards in the Cardinals’ Week 5 win over the 49ers.
Wilson caught passes of 34 and 20 yards on back-to-back drives and saw plenty of targets despite the return of Trey McBride. Wilson has seen six or more targets in three straight games and has totaled 16 receptions for 180 yards over that span (11.3 YPR). Wilson is the unquestioned WR2 in Arizona’s offense but shouldn’t be counted on as anything more than a WR4 in fantasy when the Cardinals take on the Packers.
  • DEN Tight End #85
Lucas Krull caught 1-of-1 targets for five yards in the Broncos’ Week 5 win over the Raiders.
Krull had a chance to establish himself as a capable contributor after Sean Payton chose to make Greg Dulcich a healthy scratch for this one. Krull unequivocally failed to seize the moment. He is not worth holding on fantasy benches.
  • ARI Wide Receiver #18
Marvin Harrison Jr. caught 2-of-7 targets for 36 yards in the Cardinals’ Week 5 win over the 49ers.
Harrison didn’t see many catchable targets in this one, although it should be noted that he dropped an easy touchdown pass from Kyler Murray in the second quarter. Despite the disappointing outing, the Cardinals don’t win this game without Harrison, who hauled in a contested catch for a 14-yard gain on a fourth and five the Cardinals needed to convert to keep their comeback hopes alive. Harrison’s catch allowed the Cardinals to continue driving downfield and eventually put Chad Ryland in position to nail a 35-yard go-ahead field goal with less than a minute to go. Harrison has seen six or more targets in each of his last four games but hasn’t gone for more than 64 yards in his last three outings. He’ll hope for a better outing in Week 6 when the Cardinals visit the Packers.
  • DEN Running Back #38
Jaleel McLaughlin rushed six times for 22 yards and caught 3-of-4 targets for 3 yards and one touchdown in the Broncos’ Week 5 win over the Raiders.
McLaughlin was seldom seen in the first half, logging just seven offensive snaps. McLaughlin’s role increased in the second half, allowing him to poach a green zone touchdown but he was terribly inefficient overall. He is a zero-floor flex option against the Chargers in Week 6.
  • NYG Running Back #20
Eric Gray rushed four times for four yards and a fumble in the Giants’ Week 5 win over the Seahawks, adding three receptions for 50 yards.
Nearly all of Gray’s opportunities came on the Giants’ opening drive, where he was Daniel Jones’ emergency checkdown valve. However, he lost opportunities when he fumbled at the goal line, leading to a Seahawks fumble return for touchdown. Tyrone Tracy’s efficient running surpassed Gray’s production and even if Devin Singletary is out another week, Gray is just a kick returner with occasional pass-catching opportunities out of the backfield for fantasy.
  • LV Quarterback #12
Aidan O’Connell completed 10-of-20 passes for 94 yards and one interception in the Raiders’ 18-34, Week 5 loss to the Broncos.
Antonio Pierce unsurprisingly declined to name a Week 6 starter after his hopeful fourth-quarter savior helped Pat Surtain to his second interception of the day. Brock Bowers technically tipped the late pass but securing it was a tall order to begin with. O’Connell is not fantasy-relevant if named the Week 6 starter.
