Bears RE Julius Peppers (knee) was limping as he left the locker room following Monday night’s loss to the Lions.
He left briefly in the second quarter, but returned to finish out the game. With backup Corey Wootton out several weeks with a broken hand, the Bears may struggle to generate outside pass rush against Minnesota if Peppers can’t go.

Titans traded up with the Ravens to select Stanford WR Elic Ayomanor with the No. 136 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Ayomanor (6’2/206) redshirted as a freshman and hit the ground running as a sophomore, posting a 62/1,013/6 receiving line. He accounted for 36 percent of his team’s passing yards and had over half of the touchdowns. Stanford’s offense reached new lows in 2024 and they added more target competition for Ayomanor, dropping him to 831 yards. Ayomanor was an outside, contested-catch artist at Stanford. He had a career aDOT of 14.1 and a contested catch rate of 48 percent. Of his 216 career targets, 58 were contested. Ayomanor ran a 4.44 Forty at the combine and logged jumps over the 90th percentile, giving him a RAS of 9.71. He’s not a massive receiver, but his combination of size and athleticism will earn him a role at the next level. His reliance on winning jump balls and a lack of separation, however, could cap his ceiling.
Can 49ers' McCaffrey have a fantasy rebound year?
Lawrence Jackson Jr. unpacks the news of San Francisco 49ers' Christian McCaffrey saying he has no restrictions heading into the 2025 season, analyzing if the veteran can have a rebound year in fantasy football.
  • LV Defensive Tackle
Raiders selected South Carolina DT Tonka Hemingway with the No. 135 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Hemingway’s intriguing inside-outside alignment profile fits nicely in today’s pass-heavy NFL. The five-year player and three-year starter stands 6’3/284 with 33-inch arms. He leaves South Carolina having logged 1,108 defensive tackle snaps, 690 EDGE snaps and 184 nose tackle snaps. The former all-state high school basketball player possesses “athletic feet,” per NFL.com’s Lance Zierlein, and South Carolina credits Hemingway with swatting 11 pass attempts on the gridiron. Hemingway can struggle to anchor in run defense and, worryingly, averaged a 19.0 percent missed tackle rate over the last three regular seasons but tied for top-five SEC marks, positionally, in solo tackles (56) and stops (48). Hemingway is likely best suited to an early-down EDGE role with the ability to kick inside on passing downs. He totaled 23-to-25 quarterback pressures and 2-to-4 sacks in each of his last three regular seasons. He earned nine combined All-SEC awards for his performance on the field and in the classroom.
  • Broncos selected Alabama EDGE Que Robinson with the 134th overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.
  • KC Wide Receiver
Chiefs selected Utah State WR Jalen Royals with the No. 133 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.
The Chiefs finally address their receiver corps near the end of Round 4. Royals (6’0/205) broke out as a junior at Utah State with a 71/1,080/15 receiving line. A foot injury limited him to just seven games in his final season, but he still managed an astounding 834 yards and six touchdowns on 55 grabs. Royals averaged three yards per route run in his final season and accounted for 38 percent of the Aggies’ receiving yards in his seven appearances. Royals looked like a burner on tape and backed that up at the NFL Scouting Combine with 4.42 wheels. When he didn’t blow by defenders, Royals still managed to bring down 63 percent of his career contested targets. Royals doesn’t have the frame of a 50/50 ball artist and will need to hone his route-running to match his tested speed at the next level. He returned kicks as a senior and will likely get his start with the Chiefs as a special teamer and a depth option at wideout, but there is legitimate upside here. He is an exciting Dynasty league stash with Patrick Mahomes at the controls.
  • CHI Inside Linebacker
Bears selected LB Ruben Hyppolite with the No. 132 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Ruben Hyppolite (5'11/236) started 46 games across five seasons in the collegiate ranks and drew poor draft grades from most NFL scouts. Nevertheless, the Bears saw enough in him to take the gamble in the fourth round. If nothing less, Hyppolite will have the ability to learn behind Tremaine Edmunds at middle linebacker in the immediate future.
  • NO Cornerback #3
Saints selected Louisville CB Quincy Riley with the No. 131 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Riley brings a ton of experience to the table having played six years of college football between Middle Tennessee State and Louisville. His best season came in 2023, where he recorded 49 total tackles, 10 pass deflections, and three interceptions. Riley plays physical and has good ball skills. In 2024, Riley allowed just a 36-percent completion rate and an exceptional 85.3 coverage grade. He plays physically but has average makeup speed. Though athletic, he lacks the size for your prototypical NFL corner standing at 5-foot-11 and 194 pounds. He also is a bit of an inconsistent tackler having recorded a troubling 25.6-percent missed tackle rate last year. There are times where he lacks the upper body strength to utilize leverage against more polished route runners, which causes separation. Riley’s size could be a concern at the next level, as he could struggle against bigger receivers.
  • NYJ Safety
Jets traded up with the Eagles to select Alabama S Malachi Moore with the No. 130 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.
The Jets traded up to grab Moore while the Eagles opted to move back. Moore had an up-and-down five-year college career but ultimately found success after switching from slot cornerback to primarily playing free safety in 2024. Moore started as a true freshman in 2020 before losing the starting slot role to current Detroit Lions DB Brian Branch. Moore tied for the third-most pass breakups (seven) among Power Five safeties last season, and set career highs in solo tackles (52) and assists (18), while tying his career high in stops (20). Moore’s size (5’11"/196) could be a problem in run defense, but he does not shy away from contact.
  • BAL Linebacker
Ravens selected California LB Teddye Buchanan with the No. 129 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Buchanan (6’2/233) spent four seasons at UC-Davis before transferring to Cal for the 2024 season. A former high school quarterback, Buchanan successfully transferred his field-reading skills to his role as a coverage linebacker, yielding just a 7.9 percent target rate and a 56.3 percent catch rate. Buchanan led all linebackers at the NFL Scouting Combine in the vertical jump (40 inches) and tied for the positional lead in the bench press (26 repetitions). Buchanan can close on ball carriers quickly when he correctly reads the play, but can otherwise get lost in box traffic and lacks ideal thump. He uses his speed well as a blitzer and should be a standout player on special teams.
  • WAS Wide Receiver #83
Commanders traded up with the Texans to select Virginia Tech WR Jaylin Lane with the No. 128 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Lane, who saw a 19 percent target share in two of his final three collegiate seasons, is as speedy as any wideout in the 2025 draft class. His 40-yard dash time ranked in the 98th percentile and his burst score was also in the 98th percentile. Lane is unlikely to crack three-wideout sets in Washington’s offense. “Lane can stretch defenses from the slot with his build-up speed and is a viable option in catch-and-run packages near the line of scrimmage,” according to NFL.com’s analysis of Lane. “He gives too many clues as a route runner and needs to work on running repeatable, fluid routes as a pro. While he’s tough as a runner, he can’t muster the play strength or ball skills to win the contested-catch game. Lane’s best qualities give him a chance to stick on a roster, but he might need to earn his keep as a return man early on.”
  • IND Tackle
Colts selected Iowa State OT Jalen Travis with the No. 127 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.
After four years and two second-team All-Ivy League selections at Princeton, Travis (6'7/339) transferred to Iowa State and started 11 games at left tackle in 2024. The athletic profile is very impressive. Travis has 34 7/8th-inch arms, and finished in the 97th percentile at the NFL combine with a 35-inch vertical jump. It feels almost cliche to say that the 6-foot-7 tackle had a problem getting low in his blocks, but … the 6-foot-7 tackle had a problem getting low on his blocks. Travis was a stellar pass protector for the Cyclones, allowing just one sack and nine hurries in 475 pass pro snaps per PFF. He could be a viable swing tackle prospect while Indy’s coaches take a crack at trying to help him stay anchored in the run game.
