Matt Forte was the Bears’ only offensive threat in their 24-13 Week 5 loss to the Lions, running 22 times for 116 yards with four catches and 35 yards out of the backfield.
Given severe problems with his offensive line and lack of a true receiving threat, Forte owners have to be thrilled with this level of production. At the league minimum salary of $600,000, Forte should also be plenty motivated to keep it up. He has a tough matchup against the Vikings next week, but Forte is averaging an incredible 157 total yards per game and is locked in as an RB1.
