Saints claimed RB P.J. Hill off waivers from the Redskins.
Hill signed with the Saints out of Wisconsin last offseason, but he was plucked off the practice squad by the Eagles in October. Keep an eye on Hill’s progress this summer, as he has the potential to vulture short-yardage duties if he makes the team. He’ll battle Lynell Hamilton for the role.

Emanuel Wilson rushed 11 times for 52 yards and a touchdown in the Packers’ Week 16 win over the Saints, adding four yards on his lone reception.
Wilson ended the game with 11 carries and one target to the 13 carries and four targets of starter Josh Jacobs. Jacobs saw 13 of his 17 touches on the team’s first two drives before giving way to the backups more most of the remainder of the game. Wilson took advantage late, scoring for just the second time this season. It is likely he retreats to a limited role when the Packers face the Vikings in Week 17.
  • GB Wide Receiver #9
Christian Watson failed to catch his only target in the Packers’ Week 16 win over the Saints.
Watson stayed down on the field after his only target of the game and eventually made his way to the sideline. The team did not release an update on his status during the game but he was seen on the sideline getting his right quad massaged just above the knee. Expect an update from the team in the coming days. Watson’s status in Week 17 is something to monitor after the Packers clinched a playoff berth, something that could provide more run for Dontayvion Wicks on the perimeter.
  • GB Wide Receiver #13
Dontayvion Wicks caught 3-of-7 targets for 13 yards and a touchdown in the Packers’ Week 16 win over the Saints.
The entire pass offense saw minimal volume after the Packers took a commanding 21-0 lead into the break, eventually ending the game with the first shutout of the 2024 season by any team. Wicks could find himself back in the starting lineup when the Packers take on the division rival Vikings in Week 17, pending the health of fellow wide receiver Christian Watson.
  • GB Wide Receiver #87
Romeo Doubs caught 2-of-3 targets for 20 yards in the Packers’ Week 16 win over the Saints.
Doubs saw minimal usage on a night Jordan Love attempted only 28 passes in what would go down as the first shutout win by any team in the 2024 season. 10 pass-catchers drew a target on the evening, which left only Dontayvion Wicks with more than a modest four targets. Doubs and the rest of the primary pass-catchers could be busier in Week 17 against the pass-funnel Vikings. particularly considering Christian Watson was unable to finish the game with an apparent injury.
  • GB Tight End #85
Tucker Kraft caught 3-of-4 targets for 63 yards in the Packers’ Week 16 win over the Saints.
Like others on the team, Kraft was busy early but was hardly utilized in the second half after the Packers took a 21-0 lead into the break, eventually pitching the first shutout by any team of the 2024 season. Kraft could be called upon at greater frequency in Week 17 when the Packers face the division rival Vikings.
  • GB Wide Receiver #11
Jayden Reed caught 3-of-4 targets for 76 yards in the Packers’ Week 16 win over the Saints.
Quarterback Jordan Love attempted only 28 passes after the Packers jumped out to 21-0 lead in the first half, with only Dontayvion Wicks seeing more than a modest four targets. Reed caught a 37-yard pass from Love early in the game and padded his counting stats with a 34-yard reception in the fourth quarter from backup quarterback Malik Willis. Reed could be busier in Week 17 when the Packers travel to Minnesota to face the Vikings.
  • GB Running Back #8
Josh Jacobs rushed 13 times for 69 yards and a touchdown in the Packers’ Week 16 win over the Saints, adding 38 yards on four receptions.
Jacobs saw 13 touches on the first two drives of the game as the Packers jumped out to a 14-0 lead at the beginning of the second quarter. They were then able to coast the rest of the way as the Saints struggled to move the ball with Spencer Rattler under center and a ragtag bunch of skill position players around him, which held Jacobs to just four more touches the rest of the game. Both Chris Brooks and Emanuel Wilson would score later in the game as the Packers looked to get out of Week 16 healthy. The Packers get the Vikings on the road in Week 17 in what should be another tight divisional game in the most competitive division in the league.
  • CHI Running Back #20
Bears RB Travis Homer (hamstring) did not practice on Monday.
Homer returned from injured reserve in late October after battling a hamstring injury and now appears to be fighting through another one. His role with both D’Andre Swift and Roschon Johnson was likely to be confined to special teams, making this one of little fantasy importance.
  • NO Quarterback #4
Saints declared QB Derek Carr, WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling, RB Alvin Kamara, DT Nathan Shepherd, and DT Khristian Boyd inactive for Week 16 against the Packers.
That makes all primary skill position starters except tight end Juwan Johnson out for the Saints in Week 16, with Rashid Shaheed and Taysom Hill done of the season and Chris Olave yet to make it back from a devastating concussion. Kendre Miller should see increased run in the backfield in the absence of Kamara.
  • GB Defensive Back #23
Packers declared LB Quay Walker, WR Malik Heath, S Javon Bullard, CB Jaire Alexander, S Evan Williams, and OL Jacob Monk inactive for Week 16 against the Saints.
Alexander will miss his fifth straight for the Pack while linebacker Quay Walker misses his second game this season. It makes sense for the team to give the injuries as much time as possible to heal up with the playoffs on the horizon.
