49ers S Curtis Taylor is out for Sunday’s game with a hip strain.
Taylor was injured playing special teams. He’s not used on defense.
  • KC Quarterback #15

Chiefs declared Patrick Mahomes inactive for Week 18 against the Broncos.
Mahomes now gets multiple weeks off, with the AFC’s No. 1 playoff seed safely secured. The Chiefs also declared TE Travis Kelce, DT Chris Jones, OT Jawaan Taylor, RB Isiah Pacheco, CB Trent McDuffie and DE George Karlaftis inactive, though beat reporter Adam Teicher notes that there “will be others in uniform who do not play.” Kareem Hunt is likely to be included in the latter category. The team listed him as doubtful to play on Friday although he is not injured.
  • NYJ Tackle #78
Jets declared CB Michael Carter II, DL Phidarian Mathis, LB Jamin Davis, S Jaylin Sampson, OL Morgan Moses, EDGE Braiden McGregor, and CB Jarrick Bernard-Converse inactive for Week 18 against the Dolphins.
  • ARI Wide Receiver #14
Cardinals declared WR Michael Wilson, S Jammie Robinson, LB Vi Jones, LB Benton Whitley, LB Victor Dimukeje, OL Luke Tenuta and TE Travis Vokolek inactive for Week 18 against the 49ers.
Now safely ensconced as the Cardinals’ No. 2 receiver, Wilson (hamstring) will miss his first game all season. Although Wilson faced little pressure from the likes of Greg Dortch and company behind him on the receiver depth chart, he took a step back statistically on his rookie year thanks to Trey McBride’s continued ascendance and Marvin Harrison Jr.'s arrival in the desert. Wilson can make impressive plays on the boundary, but he lacks a clear path forward in Dynasty leagues because he’s not going to jump MHJ and McBride dominates the compiling work in Arizona. Turning 25 in February, Wilson also won’t be particularly young for a third-year pro.
  • NE Running Back #39
JaMychal Hasty was inactive for the Patriots’ Week 18 game against the Bills.
Hasty will finish the season with 20 carries for 69 yards while adding 10 catches on 12 targets for 59 yards and a touchdown through the air. This will complete Hasty’s second season in New England, which means he’s now a free agent heading into this offseason. The 28-year-old has just 479 career rushing yards on 121 carries and has returned just 26 kicks in his four seasons, so he faces an uphill battle to make an NFL roster next season.
  • SF Tight End #85
George Kittle (ankle, hamstring) is active for Week 18 against the Cardinals.
We wouldn’t be surprised to see Kittle on something of a snap count, but the fact that he’s active at all for this meaningless game suggests the injuries are as minor as possible. With Josh Dobbs under center, Kittle is an uncertain DFS bet, albeit one who always offers massive upside. Inactive for the 49ers are QB Brock Purdy, WR Deebo Samuel, CB Deommodore Lenoir, EDGE Robert Beal Jr., CB Tre Avery, DT Khalil Davis and RB Israel Abanikanda.
  • DEN Running Back #25
Broncos declared Blake Watson inactive for Week 18 against the Chiefs.
Watson has played sparingly this season so his deactivation in a must-win game is unsurprising. The Broncos have a shot to secure a playoff spot against a Chiefs team that will rest all of its core players. The Broncos also declared LB Levelle Bailey, OT Frank Crum, DL Matt Henningsen, DL Eyioma Uwazurike and QB Zach Wilson (emergency third QB) inactive.
  • SEA Defensive Tackle #91
Seahawks DT Byron Murphy (back) is active for Week 18 against the Rams.
Murphy will play through a back injury that kept him sidelined during practice for most of the week ahead of Seattle’s final game of the 2024 season. The Seahawks declared DT Brandon Pili, LB Patrick O’Connell, WR Cody White, WR John Rhys Plumlee, TE Tyler Mabry, DT Quinton Bohanna, and QB Jaren Hall inactive against the Rams.
  • MIA Wide Receiver #17
Jaylen Waddle (knee) is active for Week 18 against the Jets.
  • MIA Wide Receiver #10
Tyreek Hill (wrist/illness) is active for Week 18 against the Jets.
Despite his questionable status heading into the weekend, Hill was always expected to play in a game that still has playoff implications for the Dolphins. Miami needs a win and some help to sneak into the AFC Wild Card round, but Hill will be available to catch passes from Tyler Huntley, who will make his second-consecutive start with Tua Tagovailoa (hip) sidelined.
  • MIA Quarterback #1
Dolphins declared QB Tua Tagovailoa, LB Anthony Walker, LB Mohamed Kamara, OL Andrew Meyer, OL Braeden Daniels, WR Dee Eskridge, and WR Erik Ezukanma inactive for Week 18 against the Jets.
Tagovailoa wasn’t expected to suit up this week after head coach Mike McDaniel expressed concern over his availability throughout the week. It was another injury-filled season for Tagovailoa, who appeared in just 11 games after signing a long-term extension this offseason. Even worse is the fact that it was a concussion and a hip injury that sidelined him, two injuries that have long created concern over his ability to play in the league for years to come. Tagovailoa’s season ends with a line of 2867-19-7. There’s no reason to doubt his availability heading into next season, where he’ll profile as a high-end QB2 in fantasy leagues.
