Raiders coach Tom Cable said MLB Kirk Morrison’s elbow injury is a two-week deal.
Cable also added that Morrison was ahead of Ricky Brown in their battle for the starting middle linebacker job. Assuming Morrison gets back in time for the preseason finale, which Cable said he could, we expect Morrison to be the Week 1 starter. Brown remains a candidate to start on the strong side.
  • LAC Wide Receiver #5

Joshua Palmer caught 6-of-9 targets for 78 yards in the Chargers’ Week 14 loss to the Chiefs.
Palmer made a few nice grabs for a team starved of its top two pass-catchers. Rookie wide receiver Ladd McConkey was held out with shoulder and knee injuries while lead tight end Will Dissly departed before the half after just two receptions, leaving Palmer to primary pass-catching duties. Fantasy managers in league playoffs will want to monitor the respective statuses of McConkey and Dissly before making the decision on whether to add Palmer for a game against the Buccaneers in Week 15.
  • LAC Running Back #30
Kimani Vidal rushed eight times for 34 yards in the Chargers’ Week 14 loss to the Chiefs.
Vidal was used sparingly in the first half but was given more opportunities after the break, ultimately finishing with eight carries and one target to the 10 carries of lead back Gus Edwards. It was Edwards who found the end zone, which ultimately proved the difference between the two timeshare backs. Vidal remains unlikely to see enough weekly volume to warrant fantasy consideration, something that shouldn’t change when the Chargers host the Buccaneers in Week 15.
  • LAC Running Back #4
Gus Edwards rushed 10 times for 26 yards and a touchdown in the Chargers’ Week 14 loss to the Chiefs.
The straight-ahead rusher found things difficult against the stout Kansas City defensive front but salvaged an otherwise pedestrian fantasy outing with a third quarter touchdown plunge from three yards out. Edwards saw 10 opportunities to the nine of rookie Kimani Vidal, making this backfield a frustrating timeshare in the absence of J.K. Dobbins. Another difficult matchup awaits in Week 15 when the Chargers host the Buccaneers.
  • LAC Quarterback #10
Justin Herbert completed 21-of-30 passes for 213 yards and one touchdown in the Chargers’ 19-17, Week 14 loss to the Chiefs, adding 12 yards on four carries.
Herbert and the Chargers got shut out in the first half as the two teams traded blows, taking a 13-0 deficit into the break. The third quarter was a completed different story with the Chargers rattling off 14 unanswered points to take a 14-13 lead into the final frame before the two teams traded field goals the rest of the way. Ultimately the Chargers came up just short on a made 31-yard field goal from third string Kansas City kicker Matthew Wright, a kick that hit the upright and found its way through. It was a valiant effort for a Chargers team missing its top pass-catcher in rookie wide receiver Ladd McConkey, also losing lead tight end WIll Dissly after just two catches. The Chargers fall to 8-5 and into a three-way tie for the final three playoff spots out of the AFC with four weeks remaining in the regular season. Up next for Herbert and the Chargers are the Buccaneers at home in Week 15.
  • NYJ Tight End #83
Tyler Conklin caught 3-of-5 targets for 33 yards in the Jets’ Week 14 loss against the Dolphins.
Conklin now has seven catches for 65 yards over his past two games as Aaron Rodgers’ short-area dump off option. With just six games of more than three receptions in 2024, Conklin is only fantasy viable in the deepest formats. He takes on the Jaguars in Week 15.
  • MIA Running Back #25
Jaylen Wright had two rushes for seven yards in the Dolphins’ Week 14 win against the Jets, adding two catches for six yards.
Wright saw more playing time than usual with Raheem Mostert (hip) sidelined. De’Von Achane dominated backfield touches, however, see 20 touches and scoring a touchdown against New York. Wright won’t be fantasy relevant unless Achane and Mostert miss time.
  • MIA Wide Receiver #3
Odell Beckham caught his lone target for one yard in the Dolphins’ Week 14 win against the Jets.
Beckham remains a part-time player in the Miami offense. He didn’t draw a look until the fourth quarter and ran a route on just 10 of the Dolphins’ 52 drop backs. OBJ has one game with more than two catches on the season and won’t hold fantasy relevance unless Jaylen Waddle or Tyreek Hill miss time.
  • ARI Running Back #31
Emari Demercado caught 4-of-4 targets for 15 yards in the Cardinals’ Week 14 loss against the Seahawks.
Demercado’s four receptions came on just seven pass routes, most of them in the second half as the Cardinals chased points. Demercado would figure to take on pass-catching duties and split the backfield with Trey Benson if James Conner were to miss time.
  • NYJ Wide Receiver #10
Allen Lazard caught his only target for 18 yards in the Jets’ Week 14 loss against the Dolphins.
Lazard returned to the Jets’ lineup after missing more than a month with a chest injury. Lazard ran a route on 36 of Aaron Rodgers’ 46 drop backs and took a distant backseat to Davante Adams and Garrett Wilson, who combined for 21 targets on the day. Lazard is not fantasy relevant.
  • NYJ Running Back
Isaiah Davis had ten rushes for 40 yards and a touchdown in the Jets’ Week 14 loss against the Dolphins, adding three catches for 27 yards.
Davis scored the Jets’ lone rushing touchdown and split the backfield with Braelon Allen with Breece Hall (knee) sidelined. Davis and Allen each logged 22 pass routes on the day. Davis — who scored a touchdown in Week 13 against Seattle — appeared far more explosive and quick than the lumbering Allen, and could see even more work in Week 15 against the Jaguars if Hall remains out.
