Saints agreed to terms with Wisconsin RB P.J. Hill.
Hill was injury-prone and lacked pass catching skills at Wisconsin, but he has potential as a short-yardage back if he can make the roster. Originally expected to be a late-round selection, two recent DUI arrests kept him off draft boards. If this is the best New Orleans can do, Pierre Thomas is safe.
  • CLE Tight End #85

David Njoku (hamstring) did not practice Thursday.
Njoku has not practiced since injuring his hamstring in Week 14. He missed the Browns’ Week 15 loss to the Chiefs and is on track to miss at least one more game with his latest injury. Backup Jordan Akins caught three passes for 30 yards in place of Njoku last week but can be kept off the fantasy radar even if Njoku sits.
  • CLE Wide Receiver #19
Cedric Tillman (concussion) was limited in Thursday’s practice.
Tillman may need to log a full practice on Friday if he has any hopes of suiting up in Week 16 against the Bengals. If active, Tillman won’t have the same fantasy upside he enjoyed with Jameis Winston under center. The move from Winston to Dorian Thompson-Robinson is an immediate downgrade for Tillman and all Browns players and puts Tillman somewhere on the cusp of a WR3/WR4 if he is active.
  • DAL Wide Receiver #88
CeeDee Lamb (shoulder) was upgraded to a full participant in Thursday’s practice.
Lamb being limited on Wednesday can probably be chalked up to injury maintenance, as the Cowboys’ WR1 has been playing through the same shoulder injury for several weeks. Lamb has gone for 90-plus yards and a touchdown in back-to-back weeks and will look to continue his hot play in Week 16 against the Buccaneers, where he’ll profile as a fringe WR1/WR2.
  • TB Wide Receiver #17
Sterling Shepard (foot) was limited in Thursday’s practice.
Shepard was a DNP on Wednesday but managed to log a limited session on Thursday. The veteran receiver played through the same foot injury last week and caught one pass for 16 yards in the win over the Chargers. Whether or not he’s active bears no weight on Shepard’s Week 16 fantasy upside. He can be left on the waiver wire.
  • TB Running Back #7
Bucky Irving (hip/back) was limited in Thursday’s practice.
Irving has been limited in both practices this week, but these are injuries he has been playing through. Irving was solid in last week’s game against the Chargers, rushing 15 times for 117 yards against one of the league’s top defenses. Assuming he is active for Week 16’s game against the Cowboys, Irving will be a fringe RB1/RB2 in what should be a plus matchup.
  • TB Quarterback #6
Baker Mayfield (knee) was a full participant in Thursday’s practice.
After being listed as a DNP on Wednesday, Mayfield was upgraded to a full participant on Thursday. His upgrade with one practice left to go in the week should remove any concern for fantasy managers who thought his Week 16 availability might be in doubt, as we can safely assume that Mayfield will be ready to go on Sunday while hoping to lead the Buccaneers to a playoff berth. The Buccaneers will release their final injury report on Friday, but it sounds like Mayfield’s knee injury is a minor issue at this time.
  • JAX Tight End #85
Brenton Strange (shoulder) was limited in Thursday’s practice.
The Jaguars frequently listed injured players as limited all week before allowing them to play on Sunday so Strange’s continued limitation is not necessarily concerning. Unless actionable, negative information is provided by the team, fantasy managers should expect their streaming TE1 to suit up against the Raiders this week.
  • LV Wide Receiver #16
Jakobi Meyers (ankle) was limited in Thursday’s practice.
Meyers has been limited in both practices to start the week, but this is presumably the same ankle injury he’s played through the last two weeks. Barring an unexpected setback, we would expect Meyers to suit up for Week 16 against the Jaguars, although we should have more clarity on his situation on Friday.
  • WAS Kicker #47
Zane Gonzalez (left foot) practiced in full on Thursday.
Gonzalez remains truly questionable until otherwise stated. He appeared to be ready to play last week but was ultimately ruled inactive despite practicing in full. The Commanders’ Week 16 game against the Eagles should be a fantasy-friendly environment.
  • BAL Wide Receiver #15
Nelson Agholor (concussion) is questionable for Week 16 against the Steelers.
Agholor was a DNP all week, but head coach John Harbaugh said he still has a chance to clear concussion protocol before Saturday’s game against the Steelers. If he is cleared, Agholor could see a bigger role than usual, with Rashod Bateman (foot, questionable) trending in the wrong direction. Even if he’s active, Agholor won’t have any fantasy upside this week.
