The Raiders will try out free agent WR Chad Jackson.
Jackson officially cleared waivers on Monday and is an unrestricted free agent. He is the type of size/speed reclamation project that Al Davis loves.

49ers coach Kyle Shanahan told reporters LT Trent Williams (ankle) will play if healthy, “but it’s not like that right now.”
Shanny didn’t say Williams is done for the year, but it’s not hard to connect the dots even if Williams could, in theory, return this year. He has been out for a month with the ankle injury and didn’t practice today, pointing toward another absence. With the 49ers soon to be officially eliminated from the playoff race, Williams may have played his last snap in 2024.
  • NYG Running Back #29
Tyrone Tracy (ankle) was limited in Wednesday’s practice.
A limited session suggests Tracy will suit up this week as most players are banged up in some way three months into the season. The ankle issue could, however, be the reason Tracy split reps with Devin Singletary in Week 15. Both backs saw 11 touches. Tracy ran 10 times for 31 yards and added a single reception for four yards. Until Tracy separates himself as the clear lead-back once again, he will be stuck in the RB3 ranks as a committee back on a terrible team.
  • SEA Quarterback #7
Mike Macdonald told reporters Geno Smith (knee) “was in the Seahawks’ morning walk-through and will practice in some capacity” on Wednesday.
Macdonald also mentioned that Smith is “feeling good” after injuring his knee on Sunday. Participation on Wednesday is always a good sign for a player’s availability so fantasy managers can tentatively expect the Seahawks’ QB to suit up this week. Smith’s practice participation will hopefully tell us more about his mobility and ability to drive the ball downfield.
  • NYG Wide Receiver #17
Wan’Dale Robinson (shoulder) was limited in Wednesday’s practice.
It’s likely a maintenance day for the high-volume wideout. Robinson has seen 20 targets over the past two weeks, though he has reeled in just four of them for 38 yards in back-to-back games. Healthy or not, there’s not enough meat on the bone with Robinson’s low-aDOT targets to treat him as anything other than a WR5 for Week 16.
  • NYG Wide Receiver #1
Malik Nabers (knee/foot) was limited in Wednesday’s practice.
Nabers had his foot stepped on by a teammate in the Giants’ Week 15 loss to the Ravens. He was hobbled by the stomp for a moment but it didn’t prevent him from closing out the game. Nabers should be good to go for Week 16 as a limited practice on Wednesday is nothing new for him. He remains a volume-based WR2 for his matchup with the Falcons.
  • MIA Wide Receiver #17
Jaylen Waddle (knee) did not practice Wednesday.
Waddle left Week 15’s game against the Texans and was listed as questionable to return. He did not do so but was also never ruled out officially. Mike McDaniel called him day to day on Monday and left it at that today. If Waddle can’t suit up on Sunday, rookie Malik Washington will see the bulk of the WR2 snaps for Miami. Washington caught five passes for 52 yards in releif of Waddle last week.
  • SF Running Back #31
Isaac Guerendo (hamstring) did not practice Wednesday.
Guerendo played through a foot injury last week. He was listed as questionable for the Thursday tilt, played, and saw all 16 of the team’s running back carries. The hamstring issue is a new one that likely didn’t come up until after the game, given Guerendo’s every-down role. If he can’t suit up this week, the 49ers will be down to their fifth-string running back Patrick Taylor. San Francisco called him up from the practice squad after both Christian McCaffrey and Jordan Mason went on injured reserve. Taylor is worth an add in all leagues, though we should expect to see some Israel Abanikanda and possibly Ke’Shawn Vaughn if Guerendo is out.
  • LV Quarterback #12
Aidan O’Connell (knee) returned to practice Wednesday.
O’Connell went down with a bone bruise in his knee in the Raiders’ Week 14 loss to the Bucs. He missed Week 15, but even a limited practice today puts him on track to return this week. Desmond Ridder drew the start last week and threw for 208 yards, a touchdown, and two picks. He also took three sacks. O’Connell would be an immediate upgrade over Ridder, bringing back the PPR floor and ceiling for Brock Bowers, who has been held under 50 yards in consecutive weeks. O’Connell will be a fringe-QB2 if he suits up to face the Jags this week.
  • TEN Quarterback #11
Titans coach Brian Callahan announced Mason Rudolph will start in Week 16 against the Colts.
Callahan told reporters that Rudolph could start the remaining three games, but the team is taking things week by week. Will Levis was benched last week after throwing three interceptions on just 12 attempts. The implosion left Callahan with no choice but to return to Rudolph. The journeyman turned things around, throwing for 209 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception in a losing effort to the Bengals. While Rudolph isn’t a starting-caliber passer, his floor is notably higher than that of Levis. He should be able to stabilize Calvin Ridley as a WR3 to close out the year. Rudolph himself is not on the fantasy radar for Week 16, even in Superflex leagues.
  • SEA Tackle #78
Seahawks activated OT Stone Forsythe (hand) from injured reserve.
Forsythe took over for an injured Abraham Lucas at right tackle in Week 2 and made five starts before suffering an injury of his own. With Lucas now healthy, Forsythe will likely remain on the bench for Week 16.
