Steelers head coach Bill Cowher confirmed Tuesday that linebacker Arnold Harrison will miss the rest of the season with a torn ACL.
The Steelers haven’t announced any roster moves yet, but Harrison will be placed on injured reserve. Their linebacker depth is being tested.
  • TB Wide Receiver #13

FOX Sports’ Jordan Schultz reports Mike Evans (hamstring) returned to practice Wednesday and is “planning to play” in Week 12 against the Giants.
Evans has been out since Week 7 with a severe hamstring issue. Initial reports had Week 12 as the most likely return for him and it looks like things are going to plan for the veteran wideout. The Bucs are also without Chris Godwin who is done for the year with an ankle injury. Evans should easily dominate the team’s targets once healthy. If active for Week 12, Evans will rise to the top of the WR2 ranks in his first game back.
  • CHI Running Back #4
D’Andre Swift (groin) did not practice Wednesday.
Apparently Swift sustained a groin injury in Week 10 against Green Bay, a game that saw him run for 71 yard and a score on 14 rushes. Fantasy managers should keep an eye on Swift’s late-week practice participation before they put him in lineups for Week 11. Roschon Johnson would become a top-15 fantasy play if Swift were to be sidelined this week against Minnesota.
  • NYG Linebacker #5
Giants opened the 21-day practice window for Kayvon Thibodeaux (wrist).
Giants head coach Brian Daboll said Thibodeaux, who’s been on injured reserve since early October, could return for Week 11 against the Bucs. His addition would be a boon for a Giants defense allowing the league’s tenth highest EPA per play.
  • WAS Kicker #3
Austin Seibert (hip) will be limited during practice this week.
Commanders head coach Dan Quinn said the team would evaluate Seibert at the end of the week to see if you can suit up for Week 11 against the Cowboys after missing Week 10. Seibert has been among the league’s best kickers in 2024, making 25 of 27 field goal tries and all 22 of his extra points. Zane Gonzalez would get another start for Washington if Seibert remains sidelined. Both kickers make for good fantasy options against Dallas.
  • NYG Running Back #29
ESPN’s Dan Graziano believes the Giants will “lean” on the run game in Week 11 against the Bucs.
With Tommy DeVito taking over at quarterback, Graziano makes the (reasonable) assumption that the Giants will play it conservatively on offense, which could mean a heavy dose of rookie RB Tyrone Tracy. Tracy has been efficient by every measure, averaging 5.1 yards per carry with a 47 percent rushing success rate. He’ll face off against a Tampa defense giving up the NFL’s 14th highest rushing success rate in 2024. Tracy is locked in as a top-15 option in Week 11. The Giants have a 61 percent drop back rate on the season, 3 percent below their expected rate.
  • PHI EDGE #47
Eagles EDGE Bryce Huff underwent wrist surgery and will miss most of the rest of the regular season.
Eagles beat writers believe Huff, who has played with a hard cast on his injured wrist over the past two weeks, could return at the end of the regular season or the start of the postseason. Huff’s absence is a loss for an Eagles defense featuring a pass rush that Pro Football Focus grades as the NFL’s second best this season. Huff has two sacks and 11 QB hurries this season.
  • DAL Wide Receiver #3
Cowboys opened the 21-day practice window for WR Brandin Cooks (knee).
Cooks, who hasn’t played since Week 4 after developing an infection during a knee procedure, has a chance to suit up this week against the Commanders. The Cowboys could choose to hold Cooks out until their Thanksgiving Day matchup against the Giants. If Cooks remains sidelined in Week 11, Kavontae Turpin — who had 86 yards and a touchdown on three catches in Week 10 — could be interesting in deeper formats.
  • BAL Kicker #9
Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said there’s “no thought” of benching K Justin Tucker.
Tucker for the first time in his 13-year NFL career is struggling mightily to put the ball between the uprights. He’s missed six of his 22 field goal tries in 2024, including two in Baltimore’s Week 11 loss to the Steelers. “You have to find that competition first if you’re going to be blunt about it. Where is that competition? That would be one thing,” Harbaugh said when asked if the team would consider benching Tucker. “The best option right now is to get Justin back on point, because he’s fully capable of doing it. (We) certainly haven’t lost any confidence in Justin Tucker.” Tuckers’ struggles from distance stretch back to 2023. Over the past two seasons, he’s made just four of 12 field goals of more than 50 yards. Continued struggles for Tucker could force Harbaugh to give some thought to a kicker change as the Ravens head toward the playoffs.
  • The Athletic’s Zack Rosenblatt and Dianna Russini report Jets owner Woody Johnson took increased control over the team this season.
Rosenblatt and Russini report now-fired general manager Joe Douglas “had already lost some power midway through last season when Johnson took a more active role”. After a Week 4 loss to the Broncos, Johnson “suggested to coaches that they bench Aaron Rodgers”. A week later, he made the decision to fire head coach Robert Saleh “without consulting his general manager”. Johnson also made decisions on player signings and front office firings over the offseason, decreasing Douglas’ power as general manager and pressuring certain decisions, like nixing a trade for Jerry Jeudy and a contract extension for Bryce Hall. Douglas has now been fired as the Jets will hit reset in the offseason. Johnson returned to run the Jets in 2021, after serving as the United States’ Ambassador to the United Kingdom - his brother ran the team when the Jets hired Douglas in 2019.
Fantasy ripple effects from Jets firing Douglas
Connor Rogers examines Joe Douglas' biggest missteps as the Jets' general manager, while Matthew Berry and Lawrence Jackson Jr. look at the fantasy impact of his exit with so many changes looming.
  • FA Safety #25
    Bears signed S Adrian Colbert.
Colbert has not played in a regular season game since 2022, when he appeared in two games for the Bears. The 31-year-old has spent parts of the last seven years with the 49ers, Dolphins, Giants, Jets, Browns, and Bears. He has been in and out of Chicago over the last two season and now returns as the Bears add depth to their secondary.
