The Vikings and Dolphins have had preliminary trade talks concerning Randy Moss.
The Vikings initiated the trade talks that include some combination of Miami for a package that could include some combination of defensive end Adewale Ogunleye, cornerback Sam Madison, receiver Chris Chambers and draft picks. Too many possibilities here, but the Vikings are serious. Their cap room could help make a deal work.

  • NO Running Back #41

Alvin Kamara (groin) did not practice on Friday.
Kamara’s second DNP of the week is hardly news after beat reporter Nick Underhill reported he is unlikely to play and considered week-to-week after suffering a groin injury. A Week 17 return looks like the best possible outcome for Kamara. Kendre Miller is an RB2, starting in Kamara’s stead.
  • IND Kicker #7
Colts K Matt Gay (neck) is questionable for Week 16 against the Titans.
Gay missed the first two practices of the week but was upgraded to a full practice on Friday. He should be good to go for Week 16. The fact that the Colts haven’t added a kicker to their practice squad all but confirms this.
  • IND Wide Receiver #11
Michael Pittman (back) was removed from the injury report and will play in Week 16 against the Titans.
Pittman was held out of practice on Wednesday but returned for full sessions in the following two practices. He routinely gets days off, so this is nothing new. Pittman has had a shockingly high floor over the past month, catching at least five passes for 46 yards in four straight games. Pittman is seeing more than enough targets to weather the ups and downs of Anthony Richardson, putting him just outside of the WR2 ranks for Week 16.
  • LAR Tight End #89
Tyler Higbee (illness) was removed from the injury report and will play in Week 16 against the Jets.
Higbee was activated from injured reserve earlier this week but then missed Thursday’s practice with an illness. He returned to the field on Friday and is ready to make his 2024 debut after missing the first three months of the season while recovering from the torn ACL he suffered in January. With Puka Nacua and Cooper Kupp dominating the targets in LA, Higbee won’t crack the TE2 ranks for Week 16.
  • WAS Kicker #47
Commanders K Zane Gonzalez (left foot) was removed from the injury report and will play in Week 16 against the Eagles.
Gonzalez returns for what should be a high-scoring game. Kicker-needy fantasy managers could seek out his services though his sparse productivity this season hardly instills confidence. He is a borderline K1/2.
  • MIA Tackle #72
Dolphins LT Terron Armstead (knee) is questionable for Week 16 against the 49ers.
Armstead got in a limited session on Friday before being listed as questionable, giving him a shot at suiting up on Sunday. Armstead left Week 14’s game with the knee issue and missed last week’s game. Second-round rookie Patrick Paul took his spot in the lineup and will do so this week if Armstead remains out.
  • WAS Tight End #86
Zach Ertz (concussion) is questionable for Week 16 against the Eagles.
Ertz was upgraded to limited on Thursday after being sidelined during Wednesday’s practice. His participation stagnated on Friday though, as he was unable to practice in full. Ertz still has time to clear the NFL’s concussion protocol but fantasy managers should consider him truly questionable. He is a TE1 if active.
  • MIA Wide Receiver #10
Tyreek Hill (wrist/personal) is questionable for Week 16 against the 49ers.
Hill was listed as a DNP on Wednesday, though that’s not anything too unusual for the veteran receiver. Things appeared to be normal after he got back for a full session on Thursday. Miami threw us a curveball on their final injury report, listing Hill as questionable after a limited session. Hill has been playing through the wrist injury all season. Even as it got worse a month ago, he never missed any time. We expect him to suit up this week, though fantasy managers need to check in on his status before kickoff. Malik Washington is now a priority add off the waiver wire. The rookie was already set for a larger role with Jaylen Waddle listed as doubtful. He could now be the team’s No. 1 receiver for the fantasy football semifinals.
  • DAL EDGE #11
Micah Parsons (illness) is questionable for Week 16 against the Bucs.
Parsons missed Friday’s practice before being listed as questionable. Illnesses don’t normally prevent players from suiting up, but a late addition to the injury report is a slight cause for concern. Down multiple starters on defense already, the last thing Dallas needs is to enter Week 16 sans Parsons. His absence would make a good matchup for Baker Mayfield even better.
  • DAL Wide Receiver #83
Cowboys WR Jalen Brooks (knee) will not play in Week 16 against the Bucs,
Brooks was added to the injury report on Thursday before being downgraded to a DNP on Friday, indicating he suffered a serious knee injury during practice. He scored his first career touchdown last week but will have to wait for an encore.
