WR Notes: CeeDee Lamb’s two-game slump? At least nine targets and a touchdown each time out. The Seahawks are a soft Thursday evening matchup. … Keenan Allen is averaging 15 targets over the past three weeks, never drawing fewer than 14 in the process. Even were Josh Palmer (knee) to return this week — and coach Brandon Staley has made that sound unlikely — 10-12 looks has become Allen’s absolute floor. … Amon-Ra St. Brown has drawn fewer than nine targets only two times all year and fewer than seven zero times. … Mired in his first actual slump, A.J. Brown has an unforgiving matchup in the 49ers. He does have a high total (47.5), and a secondary that can be burned when its pass rush doesn’t get home. … Brandon Aiyuk has 13 total targets over the past three weeks … and has been the WR14 by average PPR points in the process. The Eagles don’t feature Aiyuk’s beloved man coverage, but they do permit the most WR fantasy points. The matchup combined with the likely scoring environment in Philadelphia should ensure Aiyuk’s targets finally increase. His big-play odds are always favorable.

Chris Olave (concussion) is practicing. The desperate Saints will do all they can to get him out there vs. the Lions’ increasingly-atrocious pass defense. Jordan Love stunted all over this unit on Thanksgiving. Olave could have had a 200-yard day had he not missed the second half in Week 12. … Michael Pittman has caught eight-plus passes in four straight starts. His compiling is more important than ever with Jonathan Taylor (thumb) back on the shelf as the Colts attempt to peekaboo into the playoffs. The Titans remain lackadaisical about policing the skies. … Dot-connecting has not worked too well for Jaylen Waddle managers this season, but hooo boy do they connect nicely for Week 13 vs. the Commanders’ nonexistent pass rush and back-end coverage. … The Panthers limit big plays. They don’t do anything else well, but this … they do. Just keep that in mind when sitting back and waiting for Mike Evans’ weekly touchdown to direct deposit into your account. … DeVonta Smith continues to cash Dallas Goedert’s lost checks. Volume will be there against the 49ers, if not necessarily production.

Calvin Ridley in two games since Zay Jones’ return: 12/192/3. Freed up for some ever-precious “in-breaking routes,” Ridley is still receiving plenty of big-play boundary opportunities. The Bengals’ defense is bleeding chunk gains. It is feeling safer and safer to point chase with Jacksonville’s should-be WR1. … Everyone’s favorite new-found WR1, Tank Dell is the WR5 by average PPR points over the past five weeks. The Week 13 concern is a calf issue, but the early indications are his Wednesday practice absence was precautionary. A larger issue could be the looming return of Noah Brown (knee). We have rarely seen this receiver corps at full health. We are still betting on Dell’s inside-out game and recent breakout transcending journeyman Brown’s presence. … Deebo Samuel is facing an Eagles defense that primarily plays zone defense and surrenders the league’s most WR fantasy points. This could go down as Samuel’s second half high-water mark. … Ja’Marr Chase needed a fluke play to get home in Jake Browning’s first start. For Week 13, the Jags do cough up the league’s fifth most passing yards.

Week 12 was a fiasco for Puka Nacua and Cooper Kupp managers. Kupp was a decoy coming off his latest ankle injury while Nacua took a backseat to Kyren Williams and the ground game. Stunningly, neither wideout found the end zone despite Matthew Stafford finally experiencing some positive regression and tossing four scores. Week 13 could prove equally dicey if Myles Garrett plays through his shoulder injury. … Courtland Sutton finally didn’t score in Week 12, but his end zone odds are strong for Sunday vs. the Texans’ bottom-six raw yardage pass D. … Adam Thielen is an uncomfortable start as the Panthers’ offense further flails and must now adjust to the firing of all its top coaches. He stays in the top 20 because the Bucs are as good as it gets for a matchup and the wideouts surrounding him have almost as many questions as he does. … Like Tank Dell, Nico Collins has to be worried about Noah Brown’s potential return vs. the Broncos’ stingy pass defense. There is also hope that the Texans will align their receiver rotation so that Brown absorbs the majority of Patrick Surtain’s blows.

The only thing keeping DeAndre Hopkins in the top 24 is the fact that six teams are on bye. He does also have an 8/140 performance vs. the Colts on his 2023 stat sheet. … Week 12 provided hope that things really will be different for Diontae Johnson and George Pickens with Matt Canada out the door. That came in a tough matchup with the Browns. The Cardinals are the opposite for Week 13. There might finally be a change in the Yellow and Black weather. … Terry McLaurin has — again — been one of the year’s biggest disappointments. Terry McLaurin — again — profiles for prodigious volume in a game where the Commanders will have to throw for all 60 minutes. … Marquise Brown and Kyler Murray finally got on something resembling the same page in Week 12, though Murray remained frightfully inaccurate. 5-6 catches is eminently plausible. … Garrett Wilson rebounded to seven Week 12 receptions, but Tim Boyle could get benched at any moment vs. Atlanta. … Rashee Rice had his breakout moment. Don’t be surprised if it ends up non-transferrable vs. Green Bay’s solid pass D. … Christian Watson has woken up just in time for a brutal Chiefs matchup.
