WR Notes: CeeDee Lamb’s “cold streak” shouldn’t last long. The Commanders might have the very worst secondary in existence. … It took two months, but A.J. Brown has finally come back down to earth. The Bills’ injury-ravaged defense will do its best to hoist him back up into the stratosphere. Especially with Dallas Goedert (arm) on the shelf, it is almost impossible for AJB to experience an extended slump. … On the subject of slumps: Stefon Diggs’ is the real deal. A scoreless 7/61 over the past two weeks. Five games without reaching 100 yards. An Eagles defense surrendering the most receiver fantasy points is now at Diggs’ Week 12 service. Hopefully he knows what to do with the hospitality. … One small note for Amon-Ra St. Brown managers: The Packers have been surprisingly stingy vs. the slot. … How unstoppable is Keenan Allen’s volume? He dropped two Week 11 touchdowns and still finished as the PPR WR4. The Ravens are the wrong kind of matchup for any receiver — very much including the slot — but the Chargers almost literally don’t have another option. They simply have to keep shoveling looks their No. 1 wideout’s way.

With Cooper Kupp (ankle) once again sidelined, the Rams do have a Plan B: Target the ever-living you-know-what out of Puka Nacua. We saw this demonstrated in vivid fashion for Weeks 1-4. Even with Matthew Stafford looking closer and closer to retirement, there is every reason to treat Nacua as a high-end WR1 in Kupp’s likely absence. … Aidan O’Connell got the message loud and clear: Davante Adams is Davante Adams. Vegas’ alpha has 26 targets over the past two weeks. The Chiefs are yet another tough matchup in an insane run of them for the Silver and Black, though we at least know Adams will have the requisite volume for a big day. … Brandon Aiyuk has only nine targets in two games since the 49ers’ skill corps returned to full strength, but he has turned them into 8/211/2. Uhh, that’ll do. The Seahawks are a plus Thanksgiving Night matchup, while Aiyuk’s target totals aren’t going to remain that low even with Deebo Samuel and George Kittle cookin’. … #AsExpected, DeVonta Smith had one of his best games of the season with Dallas Goedert on the shelf for Week 11. A Week 12 shootout with the Bills would be glorious news for the Eagles’ condensed target tree.

If Justin Jefferson (hamstring) plays, he returns to the top 10. Simple as that. Snap counts, Josh Dobbs, it doesn’t matter. For his part, Jordan Addison would tumble outside the top 40. … Josh Downs (knee) is trending toward a return for the Colts, but that doesn’t matter for Michael Pittman vs. the Bucs’ world-famous “pass funnel.” It would be nice if Pittman ever did anything with his weekly eight receptions, though it should be more like 10-12 against Tampa. The PPR scoreboard tells no lies. … The Bengals will reportedly try to run their offense “as usual” without Joe Burrow. Obviously same. One area where it might actually happen? Relentlessly targeting Ja’Marr Chase. Backup QBs have a way of honing in on their top weapons. For now, I’ll treat Chase as a Garrett Wilson-esque option on the WR1/2 borderline. … Justin Fields to DJ Moore: Definitely a thing. The Bears’ top wideout is averaging 20.7 PPR points in seven games with Fields under center compared to 10.3 in four with Tyson Bagent. Moore posted a Fields-less 5/51/0 against the Vikings last month. Expect a different result this time around.

It appears Noah Brown (knee) is sitting again. That keeps the red carpet rolled out for Tank Dell, who is the WR4 by average PPR points over the past three weeks. Dell is averaging 12 targets during that timespan, never drawing fewer than 10. The Jags permit the fourth most passing yards. … Panthers coach Frank Reich predictably re-started the Adam Thielen PPR train upon reassuming play-calling duties in Week 11. The Titans are a plus-plus matchup. … Jaylen Waddle is an excellent player who just happens to play alongside a Hall-of-Famer. The Dolphins’ No. 2 isn’t escaping Tyreek Hill’s targets vortex the way he did in 2022. Perhaps Waddle will be needed for Week 12 layups vs. the Jets’ tough pass D. … Nico Collins has been running decisively behind Tank Dell of late, but the No. 2 in this offense is still a good place to be. … Courtland Sutton has become the poor man’s Mike Evans in fantasy, scoring almost at will. It’s going to hurt when the touchdown finally doesn’t come, but Sutton is the only player coach Sean Payton trusts in the red zone. His weekly TD odds are better than 50-50.

Whether it was the “condensed splits” or Zay Jones’ return, Calvin Ridley finally had a fantasy blowup in Week 11. Only a larger sample size will tell whether it was a one-week one-off or the beginning of a trend, but it was a long-overdue reminder that Ridley possesses a ceiling Christian Kirk simply doesn’t have. I’ll trot out an emotion-based ranking immediately slotting Ridley back in ahead of Kirk in this A-plus matchup. … Here’s the deal for Garrett Wilson: There isn’t going to be any great difference between Zach Wilson and Tim Boyle. So why does Wilson get such a rankings dock? We at least knew Wilson was going to lock onto his No. 1 wideout. It stands to reason Boyle will do the same, but vs. Jalen Ramsey is too risky of a place to find out on the WR1/2 borderline. … Will Levis’ play is collapsing and the Panthers are the wrong place to go big-play hunting with DeAndre Hopkins. … For now, I will bet that Marquise Brown’s underwhelming two-game sample size with Kyler Murray is a statistical fluke. … It’s fun to connect Mark Andrews’ lost target dots to Zay Flowers. It’s accurate to say it has been Odell Beckham, not Flowers, coming on strong over the past month.
