I’m going to try something a little different with the Value Finder this week. If you hate it, please let me know (in all caps) @kyletweetshere. If you like it, I’d also like to know. I’ll still be listing one player per position per DFS site that comes up as a value this week. Instead of a long-winded paragraph one each player, all I’ll be giving is three or four bullet points on why they project well. These are the value players of the week according to our DFS Tools and Composite Staff Rankings from the Season Pass.
Taylor Heinicke vs. Chiefs — DraftKings, $5,800
- Heinicke is averaging 272 passing yards plus 28 rushing yards since taking over
- The KC/WFT game has a 54.5 total, highest of the main slate
- The Chiefs have allowed 296.4 passing yards per game

Lamar Jackson vs. Chargers — Fanduel, $8,200
- Jackson’s rushing yards (68) and attempts (11.2) are up compared to 2020
- His passing yards per game are up...120 yards!
- Baltimore’s 27-point implied team total is top-five on the slate
- Jackson is a top-three value on Yahoo and Fanduel
Justin Fields vs. Packers — Yahoo, $20
- Fields has yet to throw the ball 20 times in a game but hasn’t played in a one-score game either
- The Bears are six-point dogs to the Packers this week
- You should probably still play Lamar Jackson (or Patrick Mahomes) in Yahoo cash
Darrel Williams vs. Washington — DraftKings, $4,900
- After Clyde Edwards-Helaire went down last week, Williams out-touched Jerick McKinnon 8-3
- Williams also saw five targets to McKinnon’s two
- The Chiefs are 6.5-point favorites at home
Kareem Hunt vs. Cardinals — Fanduel, $7,400
- Hunt has averaged 16.2 carries and 2.5 receptions while playing without Nick Chubb
- The Browns are 3.5-point favorites
- Cleveland’s game is projected to have sustained winds around 15-20mph
Darrell Henderson vs. Giants — Yahoo, $20
- In four starts, Henderson is averaging 15 carries and 2.5 receptions per game
- His team is favored by nine points
- The Giants are 29th in rushing yards allowed per game (138.4)
Jakobi Meyers vs. Cowboys — DraftKings, $5,500
- Meyers is 12th in the NFL in targets (excluding Thursday’s game)
- The Patriots are passing on 65 percent of their plays this year
- Dallas has allowed the third-most fantasy points to opposing receivers this year
Michael Pittman vs. Texans — Fanduel, $5,800
- Pittman has caught at least six passes in every game following Week 1
- He is top-20 in target share (25.3 percent) and air yards share (36.9 percent)
- Carson Wentz topped 400 yards for the first time in his career last week
Marquise Brown vs. Chargers — Yahoo, $17
- Brown has earned 2.7 yards per route, eighth-most in the NFL (min. 20 targets)
- He has fifth in yards per target (11.9)
- Once again, his quarterback is throwing for an additional 120 yards per game compared to 2020 (this improvement cannot be understated)
Jared Cook vs. Ravens — DraftKings, $3,200
- Cook’s aDOT of 8.4 is top-10 among tight ends with at least 15 targets
- The BAL/LAC total of 51.5 is the second-highest on the main slate
- Cooks is tied for fourth among tight ends with three end zone targets
Ricky Seals-Jones vs. Chiefs — Fanduel, $5,000
- Seals-Jones appeared on all but one of the Football Team’s offensive snaps last week
- He earned nine targets
- Backup tight end John Bates was not targeted
Dalton Schultz vs. Giants — Yahoo, $15
- Schultz has caught six passes in all but one game this year
- He leads the Cowboys with 23 targets over the past three weeks
- Amari Cooper and CeeDee Lamb have combined for just four more targets in that span
