Congratulations to those of you who’ve made it to the fantasy playoff semi-finals. If you are eliminated and still reading this article there are plenty of other ways to get a good sweat going on Sundays including betting and daily fantasy. Before setting your lineup or putting in any bets be sure to check out Hayden Winks’ Fantasy Football Forecast where he breaks down each game.

Wind Worries

Miami at NY Giants (1:00 PM ET): Eli Manning will likely be playing his final home game in a New York Giants uniform. 44-degree temperatures, partly cloudy skies, and 15 MPH winds are in the forecast. The only troubling item in the forecast is the wind. 15 MPH is the threshold for a decline in yards per attempt and completion percentage but it’s only minor until wind speeds reach 20 MPH. Start all fantasy options as normal in this one.

Winter Weather

Chicago at Green Bay (1:00 PM ET): It took a while, but cold weather has finally reached Green Bay. The Bears and Packers will play in 13-degree temperatures with clear skies and seven MPH winds. Given the wind chill it’s expected to feel like five degrees. This isn’t ideal but won’t impact the game as much as strong winds or heavy snow. I would stick with all fantasy options I was already planning on starting.

Denver at Kansas City (1:00 PM ET): Drew Lock travels to Kansas City after playing admirably in two consecutive games. There is expected to be a bunch of fog before game time along with 26-degree temperatures and 10 MPH winds. It’s expected to feel like 16-degrees when considering the wind chill. There is also a legitimate chance of snow. This is a game to check back on because worsening wind or a lot of snow can severely change the outlook on this one.

Worry-Free Weather

Seattle at Carolina (1:00 PM ET): The Seahawks travel to Carolina to take on the struggling Panthers. 49-degree temperatures and a light breeze won’t impact this one. Start all fantasy options as usual.

Philadelphia at Washington (1:00 PM ET): This divisional contest is expected to avoid the cold with 46-degree temperatures expected. 11 MPH winds could wind up being an issue and are something to keep an eye on heading into game time.

Houston at Tennessee (1:00 PM ET): This game is expected to be a shootout with Ryan Tannehill playing so efficiently. Neither team will be impacted by the weather in this one as 45-degree temperatures, partly cloudy skies, and four MPH winds are expected.

New England at Cincinnati (1:00 PM ET): The Patriots have been slumping as of late but will look to get back on track against the hapless Bengals. 33-degree temperatures, partly cloudy skies and six MPH winds are expected in this one. Start all fantasy options as normal.

Jacksonville at Oakland (4:05 PM ET): The Raiders and Jaguars will enjoy some of the best weather of the week with 53-degree temperatures, clear skies, and five MPH winds expected. Fire up all fantasy options from this one.

Minnesota at LA Chargers (4:05 PM ET): The Chargers host the Vikings in beautiful California weather. 61-degree temperatures, clear skies, and 11 MPH winds are expected. All fantasy options can be started as usual.

Atlanta at San Francisco (4:25 PM ET): The 49ers host the Falcons as 11.5-point favorites in a meaningless game for the road team. Mild weather is expected with 54-degree temperatures, partly cloudy skies, and six MPH winds.

Buffalo at Pittsburgh (8:20 PM ET): Josh Allen and company travel to Pittsburgh to take on Devlin Hodges. 30-degree temperatures, mostly cloudy skies, and three MPH winds will greet them. There’s not a ton to be concerned about here.[[ad:athena]]
