  • CHI Wide Receiver #10

Burden’s only incompletion when targeted went down as a drop, which was really the only blemish in an otherwise sparkling game for the talented rookie. He served as the primary receiver with Rome Odunze on the shelf, in a game where both offenses combined for over 940 yards of total offense. Burden has continued to show his electric abilities with the ball in his hands this season and has made a case as one of the true rising stars in the league while ranking in the top five in fantasy points per route run at the position.
  • CHI Quarterback #18
This game went off the rails in a hurry, with each team reaching desperation mode from the first offensive play from scrimmage as they battled it out for the chance to claim the No. 1 seed in the NFC in Week 18. The Bears won the coin toss and deferred, returning a pick-six for a touchdown on the first play. The two teams would then trade blows throughout the first half, becoming the first two teams to each score three or more touchdowns in the first 18 minutes of an NFL game since at least 1970. Chicago gave up a touchdown with just under five minutes remaining to fall behind by four points, getting the football back with enough time to march the field and get into scoring position. The drive eventually culminated with the ball on the three and five seconds remaining, time for one final play in regulation. San Francisco’s defense held on as Williams’ pass fell short and incomplete, marking the end of one of the games of the season. Williams and the Bears remains the No. 2 seed in the NFC after beating the Eagles earlier this season, although they’ll need to beat the Lions in Week 18 to preserve that position.
  • LV Running Back #2
Jeanty simply had nowhere to run behind the Raiders’ offensive line. He regularly got hit near the line of scrimmage and was unable to will his way past the Giants’ swarming defenders. Defenses already have little reason to respect the Raiders’ passing offense, and things could be even more difficult against the Chiefs next week, with QB Geno Smith (ankle) potentially sidelined. Jeanty remains just a volume-based RB2.
  • LV Tight End #87
Mayer showed off his versatility in this one, lining up all over the formation. He nearly hauled in a pass on a short crossing route from the Giants’ 12-yard line, but QB Geno Smith’s pass was off the mark, allowing Giants LB Bobby Okereke to snatch the ball away, robbing Mayer of a potential catch-and-run touchdown. Aside from that, Mayer regularly picked up chunk gains between the 20s. He remains a TE1 against the Chiefs in Week 18, though Kenny Pickett could get the start with Geno Smith suffering a high-ankle sprain today.
  • PHI Wide Receiver #11
Brown made a few tough catches in the first half with defenders in close coverage and the yardage gave him his fourth-straight 1,000-yard receiving season. However, the Eagles’ offense gained just 19 total yards in the second half, so there was not much for Brown after his early drives. We’d expect more production next week against a Commanders team that Brown just posted 95 yards against a week ago.
  • PHI Running Back #26
The Bills’ defense sold out to stop the run in the pouring rain, and they had defenders in the backfield multiple times throughout the game. Barkley looked healthy and ripped off a solid 16-yard run to the boundary at one point; however, there simply wasn’t a lot of running room for him this week. Things should be a bit easier next week against the Commanders if the Eagles play their starters, which they seem inclined to do with the two-seed on the line.
  • BUF Wide Receiver #18
Cooks came into this game with just one catch and two drops in his two games with the Bills. However, Josh Allen kept firing deep shots to him and, in the first quarter, Cooks finally hauled in a huge 50-yard completion. Later in the game, on the Bills’ final offensive possession, Cooks converted on a key third-down catch and then made a ridiculous 36-yard grab with a defender draped all over him. At 32 years old, Cooks is not the receiver he used to be, but he can still make some plays down the field, and the Bills are clearly relying on him to do so. If Josh Allen plays in Week 18 against the Jets, we’d expect to see more deep shots to Cooks in an offense that is dying for big plays.
  • BUF Quarterback #17
This would be easier to believe if we couldn’t see Allen visibly hobbling on the field in the second half of Sunday’s loss to the Eagles, and he also appeared to struggle to plant his foot at times. With the Patriots securing the AFC East division title, the Bills could opt to sit Allen in Week 18 against the Jets in what is a mostly meaningless game, but that will likely be decided later in the week. Regardless of whatever narrative Allen is trying to spin on his injury, his status on the weekly practice report will be one to monitor until further notice.

    Harold Fannin
    CLE Tight End #44
Fannin re-aggravated a groin injury he suffered late last week in Sunday’s win over the Steelers. The rookie tight end said he will undergo further testing before determining his Week 18 availability, but if he’s unable to go, the Browns will likely be looking at Blake Whiteheart and Sal Cannella as their top two tight ends in the season finale.
  • BUF Running Back #4
The Eagles were flying all over the field to stop the run today, showing little concern for the Bills’ passing attack. It worked, for the most part. Cook had a long run of 10 yards and was routinely hit one or two yards from the line of scrimmage. He also subbed himself out of the game a few times after some big hits, including a near fumble where he landed on the top of his head. The Bills don’t have much to play for against the Jets, but they likely will want Cook to cement his status as the NFL’s leading rusher, so we’d expect at least one busy half of football for Cook next week.
