Player Overview
2023: Flowers burst onto the scene as a rookie with a constant flow of schemed touches and big YAC plays. He ranked second in the league in screen targets (25) and even turned eight carries into 56 yards and a touchdown. With Mark Andrews missing seven games because of an ankle injury, Flowers led the Ravens in receptions and yards in his first pro season.
What's changed: Baltimore let Odell Beckham walk in free agency and did little in the way of backfilling his role via free agency or the draft. The plan for Flowers’ second season will undoubtedly feature more looks downfield and an increase in targets on the whole.
Outlook: Flowers is poised to take the next step as a receiver, but targets will still be hard to come by in Baltimore’s run-heavy offense. Even if WR1 stardom is out of his reach because of the volume concerns, Flowers could put up plenty of spike weeks as a mid-range WR2 in his second season.
