Player Overview
2023: Hill left the comfort of Patrick Mahomes and posted the best numbers of his career in 2022. It was fair to wonder if he could repeat the feat in 2023. Hill put those concerns to rest in short order, going for 215 yards and two scores in Week 1. He posted four 150-yard games in the first six weeks. Hill’s pace slowed slightly as the Dolphins’ offense sputtered down the stretch, but he still managed to lead the league in receiving yards and touchdowns. He also dealt with an ankle injury that cost him one game and likely some records. Hill’s 3.8 yards per route run went down as the highest single-season mark in at least the past decade.
What's changed: The Dolphins made few changes to their offensive setup this offseason. They lost standout right guard Robert Hunt but added interior offensive lineman Aaron Brewer from Tennessee. The Dolphins also added ancillary pass-catchers Odell Beckham and Jonnu Smith.
Outlook: Hill was eyeing the record books before tweaking his ankle late in the season last year. Even as the Dolphins’ offense stalled, Hill had no issues putting up strong fantasy numbers. He will be in the running for the WR1 overall throne again in 2024.
