Poeltl missed Tuesday’s game against the Thunder, but he will be available for the second leg of this back-to-back. His return should push Collin Murray-Boyles back to the bench after he started against OKC.
Jalen Suggs

ORL Guard #4

Jalen Suggs (back) is questionable to play against the Rockets on Thursday.

Suggs has missed the last three games for Orlando and is in danger of making it four straight absences. Tristan da Silva has started the last three games in his stead and has averaged 10.3 points and 5.7 rebounds during this stretch. He’ll hold some upside if Suggs remains out.
Deandre Ayton

LAL Center #5

Deandre Ayton recorded 21 points (8-of-11 FGs, 5-of-5 FTs), 14 rebounds, one steal and one block in Tuesday’s loss to the Magic.

Ayton was excellent during the first half, putting up 17 points and nine rebounds as the Lakers made a concerted effort to involve the 7-footer offensively. That didn’t happen as often during the second half, and while Ayton finished with a solid stat line, it could have been better. And that’s been an issue throughout the season, which has limited Ayton’s fantasy value. The Lakers end Week 18 with three games over the final four days, starting with the Suns on Thursday.
Paolo Banchero

ORL Forward #5

Paolo Banchero finished Tuesday’s win over the Lakers with 36 points (12-of-22 FGs, 10-of-11 FTs), 10 rebounds, six assists and two three-pointers.

Banchero enjoyed one of his most productive nights of the season on Tuesday, and he was at his best during the third quarter. The Magic forward scored 17 points in the period, shooting 6-of-7 from the field. The 36 points were one shy of Banchero’s season-high, and he’s scored 30 or more in seven games. Banchero and the Magic head home for their final two games of Week 18, starting with the Rockets on Thursday.
Jaden McDaniels

MIN Forward #3

Jaden McDaniels lit up the Trail Blazers with 29 points (12-of-16 FGs), six rebounds, two assists, three steals, five blocks and five three-pointers on Tuesday.

McDaniels has been excellent all season, and this was another big-time performance for him. Not only did he have a strong night as a scorer, but he also contributed eight defensive stats in the win. This was only the second time in NBA history that a player finished with at least three steals, five blocks and five three-pointers, with Brook Lopez achieving those marks in a game in 2024. McDaniels has provided top-20 value in nine-category leagues over the past two weeks.
Anthony Edwards

MIN Guard #5

Anthony Edwards led the Timberwolves with 34 points (11-of-27 FGs, 7-of-10 FTs), four rebounds, four assists, two steals, five three-pointers and five turnovers in a 124-121 win over the Trail Blazers on Tuesday.

Edwards got off to a scorching hot start to this game, entering the break with 25 points. However, he went ice-cold in the second half and wasn’t able to add to what could have been a monster night for him. It ended up being an inefficient shooting night, but he also has 12 turnovers over his last two games. He’ll look to clean that up against the Clippers on Thursday.
Derrick White

BOS Guard #9

Derrick White finished Tuesday’s win over the Suns with 22 points (9-of-18 FGs, 0-of-1 FTs), eight rebounds, eight assists, one steal, three blocks and four three-pointers.

With Jaylen Brown unavailable due to injury, the Celtics needed a bit more from White offensively than they’ve received recently. Unsurprisingly, he answered the call, recording his first 20-point game since before the All-Star break while shooting 50 percent from the field. Of course, the improved scoring output didn’t prevent White from recording a complete stat line, which included four defensive contributions. Even when the shots aren’t falling, White remains one of the best guards to roster in category leagues.
Zion Williamson

NOP Forward #1

Zion Williamson led the Pelicans with 26 points (11-of-21 FGs), six rebounds, two steals, one block and one three-pointer against the Warriors on Tuesday.

Williamson had another strong game as a scorer, having finished with at least 25 points in three of his last four games. However, it’s his continued availability that has been the most impressive. He hasn’t missed a game since mid-December, which has extended the longest streak without missing a game of his career. It’s unfortunate that Williamson’s having the healthiest year of his career in a lost season for the Pelicans, but it should give managers optimism when drafting him next season.
Dejounte Murray

NOP Guard #5

Dejounte Murray made his season debut on Tuesday and contributed 13 points (5-of-11 FGs), two rebounds, three assists, one steal, one three-pointer and five turnovers in a 113-109 win over the Warriors.

Suiting up for the first time in nearly 13 months, Murray was immediately moved into the starting unit. The Pelicans said he’d be on a minutes restriction, and he ended up logging 25 minutes, which isn’t a strict limit. It was a strong outing considering the layoff, and he should be considered a must-roster player if he’s going to continue to play this much. Next up is a trip to Utah on Thursday, and with a back-to-back this weekend, he will likely only play one of those games.
Matas Buzelis

CHI Forward #14

Matas Buzelis led the Bulls with 32 points (13-of-19 FGs), seven rebounds, two assists, one steal and six three-pointers in a 131-99 loss to the Hornets on Tuesday.

In a blowout loss to Charlotte, Buzelis was the line bright spot. He accounted for nearly one-third of Chicago’s points, which was a new season high for him. This was a spectacular showing for him, but it wasn’t enough to snap the Bulls’ 10-game losing streak. He hasn’t had the breakout season that many were expecting from him, but more outings like this down the stretch could make him a league-winner.
