Player Overview

2023: Andrews was on pace to finish with a line of 76-925-10 before a cracked fibula and injury to his ankle cut his season short after just 10 games. The veteran tight end was thriving in his first year under new offensive coordinator Todd Monken, boasting a 22% target share and a solid 12.1 YPR. Even in a crowded receiver room, Andrews’ 61 targets through the first 11 weeks of the season ranked second on the Ravens only to Zay Flowers (90). Andrews returned in the postseason, appearing in the AFC Championship game against the Chiefs, but he caught just two passes for 15 yards while playing on limited snaps. Fortunately, Andrews’ postseason return signaled that he should be good to go for the 2024 season in what he hopes is bounce-back year after last year’s derailment.

What’s changed: The Ravens return nearly every key starter from last season with the exception of Odell Beckham Jr., who finished second on the team with 64 targets last season. Second-year receiver Zay Flowers, who led the team with 108 targets, is expected to take a leap, but Andrews should be close behind him in the pecking order.

Outlook: Andrews will turn 29 the day after the Ravens kick off the 2024 season against the Chiefs. Injury aside, he looked every bit as productive as we’ve come to expect, and he was on pace for the second-most receiving yards of his career before going down. He’s one of a handful of tight ends who are in the conversation to finish as the overall TE1 this season.
