2023: Dillon was ineffective as ever, averaging 3.44 yards per carry and checking in bottom-ten in average rush yards over expected. Aaron Jones missed six games and was limited for several others and Dillon still bettered 15 carries only two times.
What’s changed: Jones departed in free agency and Dillon surprisingly re-signed … after the Packers added Josh Jacobs, who now profiles as the lead back on all three downs. Third-round game-breaker/pass-catcher MarShawn Lloyd also makes far more sense as a potential lightning/1B back.
Outlook: Maybe Dillon can muster a roster spot, but fantasy managers know better than to expect positive returns even if he manages a start or two.
