Here we go with the College Hoops DFS slate for the Elite Eight contests on Sunday, March 27. We have two NCAA Tournament games on FanDuel and DraftKings with lineups locking at 2:20 ET on both sites.
The following analysis will highlight several top plays, bargains, and other information you need to know in order to create a cash-inducing squad.
With that, let’s get to the daily fantasy analysis!
TOP PLAYS
Armando Bacot - F - North Carolina (FD: $8,500 / DK: $9,200)
You could argue Bacot as the top overall play of this two-game slate. He’s priced accordingly, but you can squeeze him into a confident lineup on both sites. Bacot is an absolute force in the paint, and there’s a chance he’ll shred an undersized St. Peter’s frontcourt. After all, he’s averaging a cool 42 FPPG in three tournament games so far, stacking up against tougher competition in each of those contests.
Jalen Wilson - F - Kansas (FD: $7,000 / DK: $6,700)
Wilson has stepped up with 32 fantasy points in each of his last two games. That’s a realistic expectation on Sunday with upside for much more. There’s reason to be optimistic with Wilson facing a Miami team that ranks 114th in adjusted defensive efficiency and 320th in rebound rate. As a reminder, there are 358 college basketball teams, so Miami is in the bottom 10% for rebounding. Wilson has snagged 25 total boards in his last two games, and this should be another spot for him to rack up rebounds.
Remy Martin - G - Kansas (FD: $7,100 / DK: $6,300)
Martin has really stepped up in the tournament with 37 fantasy points in each of his last two games. He’s an up-and-down player who could stay “up” while riding a wave of momentum. Martin is particularly underpriced on DraftKings at $6,300 - so he’s an easy pick over there. FanDuel has some merit too at $7,100.
Also Consider: Brady Manek, Ochai Agbaji (better on FD)
BARGAINS
Sam Waardenburg - F - Miami FL (FD: $5,100 / DK: $5,500)
Waardenburg is one of the top value plays of this two-game slate. He’s coming off one of his best games of the season with 13 points, 8 rebounds, and 5 assists (39 fantasy points) in the Sweet 16 matchup with Iowa State. It’s unlikely he’ll replicate that performance, but Waardenburg has the ability to chip in across the stat-sheet while seeing 35+ minutes. The Hurricanes will need him to crash the boards if they want a chance to win.
Jordan Miller - F - Miami FL (FD: $6,500 / DK: $5,900)
Miller is underpriced relative to his recent production. He’s averaging 24 FPPG on the season, but that has increased to 31 FPPG over his last four outings. I’m thinking we’ll see something closer to the latter with Miller playing nearly the entire portion of this elimination game. While Miller has been steady throughout the tournament, he also has some upside in his back pocket: hitting 40+ fantasy points twice since the calendar flipped to March. Needless to say, he’s a strong value on this brief slate.
Also Consider: Matthew Lee, David McCormack (better on FD)
