Michael Porter Jr. (shoulder) is questionable for Thursday’s Game 3 against the Clippers.
Porter injured his shoulder late in Game 2 when Clippers guard Kris Dunn landed on him as both were diving for a loose ball. While Nuggets interim coach David Adelman said Wednesday afternoon that he was confident MPJ would be available for Game 3, he is officially questionable. Peyton Watson and Russell Westbrook are the players whose minutes would most likely increase if Porter sits, with one of them likely moving into the starting lineup.

Nic Claxton (ankle) is out for Friday’s matchup with the Thunder.
Claxton’s streak of absences will extend to three, and it’s unclear when he’ll return. Until Claxton is back, Day’Ron Sharpe makes an excellent streaming option.
Murray can get Nuggets 'back on track' vs. Blazers
Numbers on the Board unpacks their favorite Friday night bets across the NBA from DraftKings SportsBook, with looks at Jamal Murray, Anthony Edwards, and others.
  • CHA Forward #2
Grant Williams (rest) is out for Friday’s matchup with the Cavaliers.
Williams had a strong outing on Thursday as a starter, but he’ll get the night off for rest on the second leg of Charlotte’s back-to-back set. Miles Bridges is still suspended, which should mean increased playing time for Tidjane Salaün. Salaün logged 20 minutes in Thursday’s loss to Houston.
  • CHA Guard #3
Coby White (calf) is out for Friday’s matchup with the Cavaliers.
White hasn’t appeared in a game for Charlotte since being traded in early February, and fantasy managers will have to wait at least one more game for that debut. Tre Mann and Sion James will continue to handle backcourt responsibilities off the bench until White is back in action.
  • CLE Center #4
Evan Mobley (calf) is out for Friday’s matchup with the Hornets.
Mobley logged 19 minutes on Thursday, returning to the court after nearly a month on the shelf. It’s not surprising that he’ll sit out the second leg of Cleveland’s back-to-back set due to left calf injury management. Mobley’s absence should mean additional run for Jaylon Tyson, who warrants streaming consideration in most fantasy leagues.
  • MIA Guard #14
Tyler Herro (ribs) is available for Friday’s matchup with the Hawks.
Herro will return to Miami’s lineup after more than a month on the sideline, and he’ll surely see a minutes restriction in his first game back. Pelle Larsson could see his role reduced, and he’s not someone to hold in most fantasy leagues.
  • MIA Forward #16
Keshad Johnson (calf) is available for Friday’s matchup with Atlanta.
Johnson will get the all-clear against the Hawks, but he’s been out of Miami’s rotation this season, so his availability isn’t meaningful for fantasy hoops managers.
  • NOP Forward #25
Trey Murphy (shoulder) is out for Friday’s matchup with the Bucks.
No surprise here, as Murphy received a doubtful tag on Thursday evening. Murphy’s absence will leave a major scoring void for New Orleans, and Jeremiah Fears should see an opportunity to help fill it.
  • DAL Guard #00
Max Christie (ankle) has been downgraded to doubtful for Friday’s matchup with the Timberwolves.
Christie has taken on a significant role in Dallas’ rotation, and his looming absence should free up additional playing time for Klay Thompson and Khris Middleton.
  • MIA Guard #24
Norman Powell (back) is available for Friday’s matchup with the Hawks.
Powell will return following a two-game absence, and there’s no indication that he’ll be limited in any way. Powell’s return should send Kel’el Ware back to the bench, but Ware should retain standalone value.
  • UTA Forward-Center #23
Lauri Markkanen (illness) is questionable for Friday’s matchup with the Grizzlies.
Markkanen is a late addition to the injury report, which doesn’t bode well for his availability against Memphis. With the star forward potentially on the shelf, fantasy managers can stream Kyle Filipowski in a favorable matchup. Svi Mykhailiuk could see a bump in playing time, too.
