Jock Landale (knee) is out for Wednesday’s Game 2 against the Warriors.
Landale’s continued absence leaves the Rockets down an option in the post. However, with Steven Adams being Alperen Sengun’s primary backup, Houston should be fine regarding their depth.
  • HOU Forward #8

Jae’Sean Tate (knee) is out for Monday’s game against the Jazz.
Tate sprained his right knee during Saturday’s loss to the Knicks. His absence does not affect fantasy basketball, but the Rockets may give fellow reserve Dorian Finney-Smith a few more minutes.
HLs: Edwards torches Mavericks, scores 40 points
Anthony Edwards returned to Minnesota with his All-Star Game MVP award and scored 40 points to help the Timberwolves beat Dallas 122-111. Edwards, who has eight 40-point games this season, had 14 in the fourth quarter.
  • SAC Guard #8
ESPN’s Shams Charania reports Killian Hayes has signed a 10-day contract with the Kings.
The former top-10 pick will get another chance to make an NBA comeback. He’ll be with Sacramento for the rest of the month, and he should be able to fill some backcourt minutes, though managers should steer clear of this situation.
  • PHI Forward #22
Johni Broome suffered a lateral meniscus tear in his right knee.
This happened while Broome was with the Delaware Blue Coats, the 76ers’ G League affiliate. The rookie hasn’t seen the floor in the NBA much this season, and it will be a while before he is back on the floor in any capacity.
  • DEN Guard #27
Jamal Murray (hamstring) is available to play against the Warriors on Sunday.
Murray was initially questionable for this game, but he’ll be good to go. He played through the hamstring injury on Friday as well and scored 25 points with six three-pointers. Murray should occupy his typical workload, which has led to tons of production this season.
  • CHI Center #13
Nick Richards (foot) is questionable to play against the Knicks on Sunday.
Richards may be sidelined for the second night of this back-to-back. Both Jalen Smith and Guerschon Yabusele started on Saturday, and if Richards is out, they’ll split the minutes at center.
  • CHI Forward #44
Patrick Williams (hand) is probable to play against the Knicks on Sunday.
Williams is dealing a left hand contusion, but it isn’t expected to impact his availability. He should continue to play his typical reserve role, which hasn’t led to much fantasy production.
  • CHI Guard #22
Anfernee Simons (wrist) has been ruled out against the Knicks on Sunday.
Simons exited early from Saturday’s game and will remain sidelined for the second leg of the back-to-back. Collin Sexton and Rob Dillingham should take on extra minutes in his absence, though only Sexton will have a chance to play enough to be considered as a streamer.
  • PHI Center-Forward #21
Joel Embiid (knee, shin) has been ruled out against the Timberwolves on Sunday.
Embiid will miss a fifth straight game as he continues to manage multiple ailments. Andre Drummond has been starting in his place for all but one of those games, with Adem Bona occupying the role for the other. One of the two should start against Minnesota, with Drummond being the preferred streaming option.
  • MIL Center-Forward #3
Myles Turner (calf) is available to play against the Mavericks on Sunday.
Turner missed the Bucks’ final game before the All-Star break and then their first game after it. Jericho Sims should head back to the bench after starting against the Pelicans on Friday.
  • GSW Forward-Center #7
Kristaps Porziņģis (illness) has been downgraded to out against the Nuggets on Sunday.
Porziņģis was added with an illness about 30 minutes prior to this and was deemed questionable. Now that he is officially out, Quinten Post should return to the rotation and fill the backup minutes at center alongside Al Horford.
