Tyler Smith logged 30 minutes in Sunday’s win over the Pistons, scoring 20 points (6-of-9 FGs, 4-of-4 FTs), four rebounds, one steal, one block and four three-pointers.
With four of Milwaukee’s five starters ruled out for a season finale that had no impact on playoff seeding, Smith played extended minutes for the first time since early February. The rookie played very well, shooting 66.7 percent from the field and recording his first 20-point game. Smith has not been in the rotation this season, and that isn’t going to change during the playoffs. But give the rookie credit for staying ready for his moment, which presented itself on Sunday.

Ryan Kalkbrenner finished Friday’s loss to the Cavaliers with 12 points (5-of-7 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), 13 rebounds, one assist and one blocked shot.
Clippers' Mathurin 'certainly worth picking up'
Eric Samulski discusses Bennedict Mathurin's 38-point performance for the Clippers vs. the Nuggets and urges fantasy managers to add him to their lineups while he gets "heavy usage" with Darius Garland out.
  • CHA Guard #1
LaMelo Ball tallied 18 points (4-of-17 FGs, 8-of-8 FTs), two rebounds, six assists and two three-pointers in Friday’s loss to the Cavaliers.
  • CHA Guard-Forward #7
Kon Knueppel recorded 33 points (11-of-20 FGs, 4-of-5 FTs), six rebounds, two assists, one steal and seven three-pointers in Friday’s loss to the Cavaliers.
  • CLE Guard #1
James Harden amassed 18 points (6-of-14 FGs, 4-of-4 FTs), four rebounds, eight assists, one steal and two three-pointers in Friday’s win over the Hornets.
  • CLE Center #31
Jarrett Allen accounted for 26 points (11-of-15 FGs, 4-of-5 FTs), 14 rebounds, two assists and one blocked shot in Friday’s win over the Hornets.
  • CLE Guard #45
Donovan Mitchell tallied 32 points (9-of-22 FGs, 12-of-13 FTs), three rebounds, four assists, two steals and two three-pointers in Friday’s win over the Hornets.
  • UTA Forward #19
Ace Bailey tallied 20 points (8-of-19 FGs, 2-of-3 FTs), six rebounds, three assists, one block and two three-pointers in Thursday’s loss to the Grizzlies.
  • UTA Guard #8
Isaiah Collier accumulated 24 points (9-of-16 FGs, 4-of-6 FTs), two rebounds, five assists, four steals, two blocks and two three-pointers in Friday’s loss to the Grizzlies.
  • UTA Center #22
Kyle Filipowski (nose) amassed 20 points (9-of-13 FGs, 1-of-1 FTs), six rebounds, three assists, two steals, two blocks and one three-pointer in Friday’s loss to the Grizzlies.
  • MEM Center #34
Lawson Lovering tallied 11 points (5-of-8 FGs, 1-of-3 FTs), 11 rebounds, three assists, one steal and one blocked shot in Friday’s win over the Jazz.
Signed to a 10-day contract earlier this month, Lovering made his first professional start on Friday. And the rookie was productive, recording a double-double in 32 minutes on the floor. While Lovering’s contract status makes him challenging to trust in most fantasy leagues, Friday’s performance and Memphis’s lack of healthy post players may earn the 7-footer a second 10-day deal. Keep an eye on Lovering.
