CJ McCollum (foot) has been ruled out for the rest of the 2024-25 season.
McCollum suffered a right foot bone contusion on March 23, and he won’t suit up again this season. He has already missed the Pelicans’ last three games, and there is no reason for him to play through any ailments since their trying to improve their lottery odds. Jose Alvarado will continue to start at point guard for the rest of the season. The veteran guard returned 10th-round value in nine-cat leagues, declining in essentially every area of his game in his age-33 season. McCollum is entering the final year of his contract with the Pelicans in 2025-26 and will probably only amount to a late-round flier in fantasy leagues.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander had 22 points (10-of-22 FGs), four rebounds, eight assists, three steals and one three-pointer against the Rockets on Friday.
Gilgeous-Alexander’s 22 points were his lowest total since he scored 21 points against the Jazz on February 21. The 26-year-old’s typical level of play has reached heights that fantasy managers are miffed when he scores in the low-20s. Gilgeous-Alexander is still arguably the top player in fantasy. He’ll look to bounce back against the Lakers Sunday afternoon.
  • OKC Small Forward #8
Jalen Williams had 33 points (13-of-21 FGs), three rebounds, four assists, two steals, one block and two three-pointers against the Rockets on Friday.
Williams continues to be an efficient scorer on a night-in and night-out basis. The 23-year-old small forward has made at least 50 percent of his field goal attempts in 10 of his last 11 games. Williams is usually behind star teammates Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Chet Holmgren, but he led the Thunder in points Friday.
  • HOU Center #12
Steven Adams had eight points (4-of-7 FGs), 12 rebounds, two steals and one block against the Thunder on Friday.
Adams moved into the starting lineup with Dillon Brooks out after receiving a 16th technical foul this year. The 31-year-old center only played 23 minutes despite getting the start. Adams still had a solid game with eight points and 12 rebounds against his former team. He’s not much of a source of fantasy value at this point in his career.
  • HOU Center #28
Alperen Sengun had 31 points (11-of-21 FGs), two rebounds, four assists and three steals against the Thunder on Friday.
Sengun is not necessarily known for his scoring, but has had at least 30 points twice over his last five games. The 22-year-old center is certainly capable of big scoring games, but those are a rare occurrence given the big man doesn’t shoot many three-pointers at all. Sengun hasn’t lived up to his preseason Yahoo! ADP of 27 this season, but he’s still a capable player with a bright future.
  • HOU Shooting Guard #4
Jalen Green had 34 points (11-of-24 FGs), four rebounds, five assists, two steals, one block and three three-pointers in the Rockets’ 125-111 victory over the Thunder on Friday.
Green has now scored at least 30 points four times over his last seven games. The 23-year-old shooting guard is one of the best scorers in the league when his shot is falling. That wasn’t totally the case on Friday as Green benefitted greatly from a friendly whistle. He got to the foul line 10 times and made nine free throws, which inflated his scoring total. We’ll see if Green can put up another big number Sunday against the Warriors.
  • SAS Shooting Guard #24
Devin Vassell had 24 points (9-of-18 FGs), four rebounds, three assists, three steals and six three-pointers against the Cavaliers on Friday.
Vassell missed Wednesday’s game against the Nuggets with an ankle injury, but returned Friday and played 36 minutes. He appeared to show no ill effects as he poured in 24 points on 18 shots including six made three-pointers. Vassell also added three steals on the defensive end. He’s a productive player when available, though the Spurs could look to cut his playing time as they look ahead to the draft.
  • SAS Shooting Guard #5
Stephon Castle had 22 points (8-of-16 FGs), nine rebounds, 11 assists, one steal and one three-pointer against the Cavaliers on Friday.
Castle just missed a triple-double for the second consecutive game Friday against the Cavaliers. The 20-year-old shooting guard was just one rebound away from a triple-double after he finished just one assist away from a triple-double Wednesday against the Nuggets. Even without the triple-doubles, Castle is still putting up impressive outings as he pushes for the Rookie of the Year Award. He’s also turned the ball over just four times in his last two games after turning the ball over seven times against the Magic Tuesday.
  • CHI Point Guard #0
Coby White logged 35 minutes in Friday’s win over the Trail Blazers, finishing with 31 points (9-of-16 FGs, 11-of-12 FTs), five rebounds, seven assists and two three-pointers.
  • CLE Point Guard #10
Darius Garland had 19 points (6-of-16 FGs), two rebounds, seven assists, one steal and four three-pointers against the Spurs on Friday.
Garland has scored at least 20 points just once in his last five games despite playing at least 30 minutes in all five games. The 25-year-old point guard has struggled with his shooting of late, but still managed to recored at least six assists in each of his last five games. Fantasy managers will take the assists and Garland will look to get his shot going again Sunday against the Kings.
  • CHI Power Forward #14
Matas Buzelis accumulated 12 points (5-of-10 FGs), 12 rebounds, one assist, two blocks and two three-pointers in 33 minutes in Friday’s win over the Trail Blazers.
