  • BOS Power Forward #8

Kristaps Porzingis (illness) is available for Saturday’s game against the Nets.
Porzingis is back after missing Boston’s last eight games with a viral illness. His playing time will be restricted, which may cap Porzingis’ fantasy ceiling. However, his floor remains relatively high, especially with Al Horford (toe) inactive.
  • GSW Point Guard #30

Stephen Curry (pelvis) will not travel with the Warriors to Atlanta and will be re-evaluated on Monday.
Curry suffered a pelvic contusion on Thursday against Toronto, as confirmed by an MRI. He will miss Saturday’s matchup with Atlanta but, depending on the results of Monday’s re-evaluation, he could return Tuesday to face the Heat. While Curry is out, Buddy Hield, Gary Payton II and Brandin Podziemski should see increased playing time.
  • MIA Small Forward #22
Andrew Wiggins (ankle) has been upgraded to probable ahead of Friday’s matchup with Houston.
Wiggins is expected to return after a two-game absence, and he should handle his normal workload as a member of the starting five. Haywood Highsmith has seen a bump in playing time over the last two, with Kel’el Ware and Jaime Jaquez Jr. logging some extra minutes as well. Highsmith’s playing time will be most negatively impacted by Wiggins’ return.
  • WAS Small Forward #14
Wizards assigned F Saddiq Bey to the Capital City Go Go of the G League.
Bey tore his ACL over a year ago and hasn’t played an NBA game since March 10, 2024. The G League assignment means he’s likely nearing a return, but it’s unclear if he’ll see any game action with the parent club this season. If Bey sees the court before the end of the 2024-25 campaign, he will surely be on a minutes restriction and not worth a look in fantasy basketball leagues.
  • NOP Power Forward #1
Zion Williamson (back) is out for Friday’s matchup with Minnesota.
This is a new injury for Williamson who has appeared in two straight games for New Orleans. In his absence, Jeremiah Robinson=Earl and Karlo Matkovic could see a bump in playing time. The Pels play a back-to-back set on Sunday and Monday, and fantasy managers should keep an eye on Williamson’s status for that pair of contests.
  • MIL Power Forward #34
Giannis Antetokounmpo led the Bucks with 28 points (9-of-15 FGs, 10-of-12 FTs), seven rebounds, four assists, two steals and one block in a 118-89 win over the Lakers on Thursday.
Antetokounmpo hasn’t found many bad matchups this season, and he certainly didn’t run into any issues against the Lakers’ backups. He only played 29 minutes, and the lopsided score was the only thing that was able to slow him down. It was a nice “get right” game for Giannis after two subpar performances against elite defenses on Sunday and Tuesday. Milwaukee will wrap the week up in Sacramento. Antetokounmpo had a 33-point triple-double against them when they faced off in January.
  • MIL Shooting Guard #5
Gary Trent Jr. provided a boost off the bench with 23 points (6-of-10 FGs), three rebounds, three assists and two steals against the Lakers on Thursday.
GTJ continues to be a reliable scoring option off the bench for Milwaukee, and he was able to step up on Thursday and have one of his best performances of the season. All of his makes were from the three-point arc, so he tied his season-high for scoring and fell one three-pointer shy of tying his season-high. This was the fifth-straight game that Trent Jr. scored in double figures, which has led to strong fantasy production during this stretch. He’ll look to keep it going in Sacramento on Saturday.
  • GSW Small Forward #10
Jimmy Butler recorded a triple-double on Thursday with 16 points (4-of-15 FGs, 7-of-10 FTs), 11 rebounds, 12 assists, two steals, two blocks and one three-pointer against the Raptors.
Butler continues to fit in flawlessly with Golden State, and he was able to record his second triple-double as a Warrior in this game. It wasn’t his most efficient shooting night, but he was able to make up for it with his well-rounded production on both ends. He may continue to be a focal point of the offense if Stephen Curry (pelvis) remains out against the Hawks on Saturday after exiting early on Thursday. Butler turned in a 24/8/10 line without Steph on Tuesday.
  • GSW Center #21
Quinten Post provided a boost off the bench with 18 points (6-of-10 FGs), two rebounds, one steal, one block and six three-pointers against the Raptors on Thursday.
With Stephen Curry and Brandin Podziemski both healthy, Post returned to the bench after starting five of Golden State’s last six games. However, he was still able to be productive as a reserve; he scored 12 points on four three-pointers in just the first half. He added two more triples in the second half, and he may get the chance to build on this performance over the weekend. Stephen Curry exited early with a pelvic contusion and is set to undergo an MRI. If he misses Saturday’s game in Atlanta, Post may return to the starting lineup.
  • TOR Shooting Guard #5
Immanuel Quickley turned in a strong line on Thursday with 21 points (8-of-17 FGs), four rebounds, eight assists, three steals, three three-pointers and five turnovers against the Warriors.
Though it has been a disappointing season overall for Quickley, mostly due to a lack of availability, he has put together a strong stretch of production over the past two weeks. During that time, he has provided third-round value in nine-cat leagues. Fantasy managers had high hopes for Quickley, but numerous injuries and playing on a lottery team really hurt his chances of living up to the preseason expectations. Still, it is good to see him finishing strong to build momentum heading into next season.
  • TOR Center #19
Jakob Poeltl returned to the lineup on Thursday and contributed 18 points (8-of-9 FGs), eight rebounds, two assists and two blocks against the Warriors
After sitting out the second night of Toronto’s back-to-back on Monday, Poeltl was back in the lineup against Golden State. His production has been limited by a lack of minutes in some of his recent appearances, but that wasn’t the case in this game. Poeltl’s 28 minutes on Thursday were the most that he has played in a game since February 2. Unfortunately, this was the last non-lottery team that Toronto will play for a while, so managers may have to deal with more limited performances from Poeltl.
