Derrick White returned to the lineup on Wednesday and contributed 22 points (7-of-14 FGs), one rebound, five assists, one block and four 3-pointers against the Bulls.
White was sidelined for Monday’s loss to Houston with a contusion in his right shin, but he was back in the lineup for this one. White has had some duds recently, but this was his second straight game with at least 20 points and four 3-pointers. It appears that White is back to his normal self, which is great news for this Celtics team. They’ve had a rough January, but if White can fix his shooting struggles moving forward, they’ll be able to rattle off wins in bunches. They’ll head to New Orleans for their next game on Friday.
