Rotoworld

Hawks coach Quin Snyder said Tuesday afternoon that Jalen Johnson (right shoulder inflammation) is “progressing” in his recovery but does not have a timeline.
Tuesday’s game against the Suns will be the fifth straight missed by Johnson, who has been one of their most important players (and an excellent fantasy option). The lack of a timeline despite Snyder saying he’s “progressing” is a concern. Vit Krejci should remain in the starting lineup for the foreseeable future, but he hasn’t done enough to merit streaming consideration.
  • OKC Point Guard #22

The Thunder will start Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Cason Wallace, Lu Dort, Jalen Williams and Jaylin Williams against the Mavericks on Thursday.
Wallace will return to the starting lineup after coming off the bench in their last game. Aaron Wiggins logged 23 minutes as the starter on Wednesday, but he will come off the bench in this one.
  • DAL Point Guard #26
Kyrie Irving, Spencer Dinwiddie, Kessler Edwards, PJ Washington, and Daniel Gafford will start Thursday’s game against the Thunder.
Dinwiddie and Edwards are the additions to the Mavericks starting lineup, with the latter making his first start of the season. Dinwiddie is the superior streaming option of the two. They’ve replaced Quentin Grimes and Olivier-Maxence Prosper in the Dallas starting lineup.
  • MIL Small Forward #22
Khris Middleton (bilateral ankle injury management) has been ruled out for Thursday’s game against the Heat.
Middleton was initially listed as probable to play in this game, but he has been ruled out. His absence will open the door for Gary Trent Jr. to play a significant role with AJ Green also sidelined. Andre Jackson Jr. and Ryan Rollins may also play a few extra minutes.
  • MIL Power Forward #34
Giannis Antetokounmpo (right patella tendinitis) is available for Thursday’s game against the Heat.
Antetokounmpo was initially probable for Thursday’s game, so the status upgrade was expected. He’ll take on his usual role as one of Milwaukee’s offensive focal points alongside Damian Lillard.
  • MIA Small Forward #16
Keshad Johnson (left shoulder inflammation) is available for Thursday’s game against the Bucks.
Johnson is available for Thursday’s game but isn’t guaranteed to be in the Heat rotation. Even with Jimmy Butler suspended, there’s no need to consider streaming Johnson.
  • MIA Point Guard #14
Tyler Herro (right groin tightness) will play against the Bucks on Thursday.
Herro was initially listed as probable for this game, so his availability doesn’t come as a surprise. Terry Rozier got the start in their last game, but he’ll likely return to the bench, where he hasn’t been effective in fantasy basketball this season.
  • TOR Small Forward #30
Ochai Agbaji (right hand laceration) is out for Thursday’s game against Atlanta.
Due to his hand injury, Agbaji will miss a third straight game on Thursday. Bruce Brown will get more time off the bench, which boosts his fantasy value slightly. At best, Brown is a deep-league option ahead of the February trade deadline.
  • POR Small Forward #33
Toumani Camara (illness) and Kris Murray (chest contusion) have been upgraded to available for Thursday’s game against Orlando.
Both forwards will be back in the lineup after missing Tuesday’s matchup with the Heat. Camara should return to the starting lineup, which will likely result in Scoot Henderson being pushed back to the bench. Murray should see his usual minutes off the bench, where he hasn’t been effective in fantasy basketball this season.
  • ATL Point Guard #11
Trae Young (right Achilles tendinitis) and Jalen Johnson (right shoulder inflammation) are available for Thursday’s game against the Raptors.
As expected, Young and Johnson are available after the Hawks listed them as probable on the initial injury report. They will occupy their usual places in the starting lineup.
  • MEM Small Forward #3
Jake LaRavia (low back soreness) will remain sidelined for Friday’s game against the Pelicans.
LaRavia will miss a second straight game, which will open up some extra reserve minutes. Brandon Clarke, Santi Aldama (illness) and GG Jackson should fill the void in place of LaRavia.
