Kel’el Ware came off the bench on Thursday and contributed 25 points (9-of-11 FGs), one assist, one steal, three blocks and three 3-pointers in a 128-115 loss to the Pacers.
After scoring a career-high 10 points off the bench in their last game, Ware took a massive leap in production in this game, though it can partially be attributed to the lopsided score. However, that shouldn’t take away from what he did. Not grabbing a rebound in 21 minutes wasn’t encouraging, but the three blocks and three 3-pointers showcased what made him an attractive prospect for dynasty managers over the summer. Erik Spoelstra’s rotations have been inconsistent this season, but it’s difficult to imagine Ware not getting a chance to build off this performance moving forward. We’ll see if Spoelstra agrees when they take on the Jazz on Saturday to close out the week.
  • LAL Point Guard #7

Gabe Vincent (left oblique strain) is probable for Tuesday’s game against the Mavericks.
Vincent isn’t a fantasy-relevant player even when he’s been healthy this season. The 28-year-old point guard has missed the Lakers’ last four games with Shake Milton taking his minutes off the bench. Vincent now seems likely to play Tuesday, though he’s not worth rostering in fantasy.
  • LAL Small Forward #5
Cam Reddish (low back soreness) is doubtful for Tuesday’s game against the Mavericks.
Reddish has battled a back issue lately and played just four minutes in Sunday’s game against the Rockets. The 25-year-old small forward has been downgraded to doubtful Tuesday and doesn’t seem likely to play against the Mavericks. His injury doesn’t significantly impact fantasy basketball as Dorian Finney-Smith should absorb Reddish’s vacated minutes.
  • BOS Point Guard #9
Derrick White (illness) is questionable for Tuesday’s game against the Nuggets.
White popped up on the injury report Tuesday afternoon with an illness. He could be on the wrong side of questionable given he just has a few hours to get right before game-time. Sam Hauser could move into the starting lineup if White is out and Payton Pritchard would become a more important player off the bench.
  • NOP Power Forward #1
Zion Williamson (left hamstring strain) is available for Tuesday’s game against the Timberwolves.
Williamson has been out since November 6, but is set to make his return Tuesday against the Timberwolves. This is a welcome development for the Pelicans as well as fantasy managers, though he’s likely to be on a minutes restriction for a few games.
  • MIA Small Forward #22
Jimmy Butler isn’t interested in being traded to the Memphis Grizzlies, according to to NBA Insider Chris Haynes.
Haynes cites league sources saying that the Grizzlies and other teams have been informed not to attempt a trade for the 35-year-old small forward. Butler is currently away from the team after Miami suspended their superstar.
  • TOR Center #24
Raptors waived center Bruno Fernando on Tuesday.
The Raptors signed Fernando as a free agent in the offseason and his contract would’ve been guaranteed for the rest of the season if he wasn’t waived Tuesday. This move was made for Toronto to have more cap space and roster flexibility ahead of next month’s trade deadline as the team saved $1 million and opened up a roster spot.
  • UTA Small Forward #28
Brice Sensabaugh (illness) is questionable for Tuesday’s game against the Hawks.
Sensabaugh has played at least 25 minutes, made at least five threes and scored at least 27 points in his last two games. The 21-year-old small forward is seeing additional minutes with Jordan Clarkson (foot) out. Keyonte George (heel) has already been ruled out for Tuesday as well. Sensabaugh would appear to be in line to be involved in the Jazz’ rotation again Tuesday if he can suit up. If not, Utah’s depth will certainly be tested with all of their missing players.
  • SAC Shooting Guard #0
Malik Monk had 23 points (8-of-25 FGs), five rebounds, six assists, two steals and two 3-pointers against the Heat on Monday.
With De’Aaron Fox (glute) out and the game going into double overtime, Monk played 48 minutes and took 25 shots. He struggled going 8-of-25 from the field, including 1-of-9 from behind the 3-point line. Monk clearly didn’t have his 3-point shot working after knocking down five threes on Sunday. The 26-year-old shooting guard could’ve had a lot more than just 23 points. He might get another opportunity for increased usage if Fox’ injury continues to linger.
  • MIA Shooting Guard #2
Terry Rozier accounted for 18 points (6-of-15 FGs, 4-of-4 FTs), seven rebounds, three assists, one steal, and two 3-pointers in 41 minutes in Monday’s double-overtime loss to the Kings.
After providing minimal value as a starter in Saturday’s 36-point loss to the Jazz, Rozier had a better night in Sacramento. The 18 points are the most he’s scored in a game since December 21, when Scary Terry dropped a season-high 23 on Orlando. Unfortunately for fantasy managers, Rozier has failed to offer much value beyond points and rebounds on most nights. Over the past two weeks, he’s ranked outside the top 200 in 9-cat formats. Jimmy Butler’s suspension should make this “prime time” to have Rozier rostered, but that isn’t the case. For now, he’s a standard league option at best; shallow league managers should hold off on adding him.
  • MIA Small Forward #11
Jaime Jaquez Jr. amassed 16 points (7-of-15 FGs, 2-of-4 FTs), 12 rebounds, 10 assists, five steals, and one blocked shot in 45 minutes in Monday’s 123-118 double-overtime loss to the Kings.
Predicting which Heat wing will step up and provide reliable fantasy value has been frustrating this season, as none have truly separated themselves from the pack. Jaquez did that on Monday, recording his first triple-double and tallying five steals. Monday’s start was his second for Duncan Robinson, and Jaquez’s all-around skill set would make him the better player to have rostered. However, inconsistent production has been an issue this season. Hopefully, Jaquez can use the Jimmy Butler suspension to separate himself from the pack and become the reliable fantasy option many hoped he would be.
