Victor Wembanyama led the Spurs with 34 points (13-of-30 FGs), eight rebounds, two assists, one steal, two blocks and four 3-pointers in a 112-110 loss to the Timberwolves on Sunday.
Wemby’s 20-point streak came to an end in their last game, but he was able to start a new one in this game. Wemby led both teams in scoring, though it didn’t come on efficient shooting as he made less than half of his 30 shot attempts, which was his second-highest output in a game this season. It wasn’t enough for them to escape Minnesota with a win, and their road trip will come to an end with a 1-3 record. They’ll kick off a three-game week with the Clippers in town on Tuesday.

Guerschon Yabusele played 30 minutes in Wednesday’s loss to the Kings, scoring eight points (3-of-6 FGs), with one rebound, three assists, one block, and two 3-pointers.
Yabusele started Wednesday’s game for Joel Embiid, who was held out of the first of two games in as many nights for the 76ers. Yabusele offered minimal value against the Kings, with Domantas Sabonis being too much for him (and Andre Drummond) to handle. Embiid should be back for Thursday’s game against the Warriors, so there’s no need to hold onto Yabusele.
  • PHI Point Guard #7
Kyle Lowry shot 0-of-3 from the field in Wednesday’s loss to the Kings, going scoreless with one assist and one steal in 17 minutes.
Lowry was Nick Nurse’s choice to start for the injured Kelly Oubre Jr., and the veteran point guard offered little fantasy value. This is unsurprising, as Lowry has long been of greater importance to his team than to fantasy basketball. There was no need to stream Lowry on Wednesday, and that will also be the case for Thursday’s game against the Warriors, regardless of Oubre’s availability.
  • PHI Shooting Guard #23
Eric Gordon produced a stat line of 14 points (5-of-9 FGs, 1-of-1 FTs), one rebound, three assists, one block, and three 3-pointers in 27 minutes in Wednesday’s loss to Sacramento.
Gordon was back in the rotation after missing four games due to a dental procedure, and the veteran guard had a good night in Sacramento. The 14 points were one shy of his season-high, with Gordon last reaching double figures on November 4 against the Suns. He did establish a new season-high with three 3-pointers while matching his best tallies in assists and blocked shots. Wednesday’s performance isn’t enough to make Gordon a player worth adding; he’ll need to string together a few quality games before that changes.
  • PHI Point Guard #0
Tyrese Maxey shot 10-of-23 from the field and 4-of-4 from the foul line in Wednesday’s 113-107 loss to Sacramento, scoring 27 points with two rebounds, six assists, four steals, one block, and three 3-pointers in 42 minutes.
Maxey has scored at least 27 points in five of his last six outings, providing consistent offensive value despite Joel Embiid and Paul George’s inconsistent availability. Those two stars’ ability to string together games has helped Maxey and the 76ers, who have gone 8-3 in their last 11 games. Maxey did have four turnovers on Wednesday, but that category is rarely a concern for him in fantasy basketball. The 76ers visit the Warriors on Thursday, and Embiid should be available.
  • PHI Small Forward #8
Paul George finished Wednesday’s 113-107 loss to Sacramento with 30 points (11-of-20 FGs, 4-of-4 FTs), eight rebounds, five assists, one steal, one block, and four 3-pointers in 36 minutes.
George hit the 30-point mark for the second time on Wednesday, finishing three points shy of his season-high (December 16 vs. Charlotte). The field goal percentage was more important than the point total, with PG making 55% of his attempts. Over the past two weeks, George has shot a frigid 32% from the field and is ranked just inside the top 150 in 9-cat formats. Wednesday’s outing represents a step in the right direction, regardless of the game’s outcome.
  • SAC Shooting Guard #0
Malik Monk played 32 minutes in Wednesday’s win over Philadelphia, accumulating 20 points (5-of-12 FGs, 10-of-10 FTs), two rebounds, six assists, and one steal.
  • SAC Shooting Guard #23
Keon Ellis produced nine points (3-of-8 FGs), one rebound, two assists, four steals, two blocks, and three 3-pointers in 38 minutes in Wednesday’s win over Philadelphia.
  • SAC Power Forward #11
Domantas Sabonis amassed 17 points (8-of-14 FGs, 1-of-2 FTs), 21 rebounds, and seven assists in 37 minutes in Wednesday’s 113-107 win over Philadelphia.
  • SAC Point Guard #5
De’Aaron Fox shot 13-of-16 from the field and 7-of-8 from the foul line in Wednesday’s 113-107 win over Philadelphia, scoring 35 points with three rebounds, four assists, one block, and two 3-pointers in 37 minutes.
  • ATL Shooting Guard #5
Dyson Daniels had nine points (4-of-17 FGs), five rebounds, six assists, three steals and one 3-pointer against the Nuggets on Wednesday.
Daniels saw increased usage with Jalen Johnson sidelined. Unfortunately, it didn’t translate to fantasy production as he struggled mightily with nine points on 17 shots. Daniels’ outside shooting was particularly poor as he made just 1-of-7 attempts from behind the 3-point line. He was much more effective from a playmaking perspective as he dished out six assists and had no turnovers. Daniels also chipped in with his typical defensive value as he had three steals.
