Rotoworld

  • MIA Shooting Guard #0
Personalize your Rotoworld feed by favoriting players
Josh Richardson (right heel soreness) is out for Sunday’s game against the Rockets.
Richardson has missed over a month with a heel injury and his status won’t impact fantasy basketball significantly.
  • DEN Center #15
Personalize your Rotoworld feed by favoriting players
Nikola Jokic (right elbow inflammation) and Aaron Gordon (right calf injury management) are available for Sunday’s game against the Magic.
  • ATL Point Guard #11
Trae Young (right Achilles tendonitis) is probable for Monday’s game against the Knicks.
Young has consistently shown up on the injury report this year with various ailments whether it be an Achilles or rib injury or an illness, though he hasn’t missed very many games. The 26-year-old point guard has become one of Madison Square Garden’s greatest villains and it’s likely Young will suit up Monday in New York.
  • ATL Power Forward #1
Jalen Johnson (right shoulder inflammation) is probable for Monday’s game against the Knicks.
Johnson returned to the Hawks lineup on Saturday after a five-game absence, playing 38 minutes in an overtime win over Boston. The probable tag suggests he’ll be available to play against the Knicks, likely taking on a similar workload.
  • NYK Power Forward #32
Karl-Anthony Towns (right thumb sprain) is questionable for Monday’s game against the Hawks.
Absent from the Knicks’ last two games, Towns fully participated in Saturday’s practice. In addition to the sprain, he’s dealing with a bone chip in that thumb, but surgery will not be required to address that issue. If the Towns cannot play against the Hawks, Jericho Sims will remain in the starting lineup, and reserve Precious Achiuwa will play more minutes off the bench.
  • NYK Shooting Guard #3
Josh Hart (cervical compression) is questionable for Monday’s game against the Hawks.
Injured during Friday’s loss to the Timberwolves, Hart participated fully in Saturday’s practice. An essential member of the Knicks’ rotation, he hasn’t missed a game since December 19 at Minnesota (personal reasons). If Hart cannot play against the Hawks, Miles McBride and Landry Shamet will figure more prominently in the rotation.
  • WAS Power Forward #35
Marvin Bagley III (right knee sprain) is out for Sunday’s game against the Kings.
Bagley III hasn’t played in nearly a month. Fortunately, his availability doesn’t have a significant impact on fantasy basketball. The Wizards power forward is still without a timetable to return.
  • WAS Point Guard #15
Malcolm Brogdon (right foot sprain) is out for Sunday’s game against the Kings.
Brogdon is set to miss yet another game with a foot injury. Jordan Poole and Bub Carrington will continue to handle the ball with the 32-year-old Brogdon still sidelined. Jared Butler could also continue to see increased opportunities off the bench in the absence of Brogdon.
  • ORL Shooting Guard #13
Jett Howard (left ankle sprain) is out for Sunday’s game against the Nuggets.
Sunday’s game will be the fourth straight on the sideline for Howard, whose availability does not impact fantasy basketball. Caleb Houstan will be available off the bench, but he hasn’t done enough to merit being rostered in most fantasy leagues.
  • POR Shooting Guard #1
Anfernee Simons (right elbow strain) is questionable for Sunday’s game against the Bulls.
Simons popped up on the injury report as questionable with an elbow injury Sunday. The 25-year-old shooting guard could be on the wrong side of questionable given that the Trail Blazers are on the second leg of a back-to-back. Scoot Henderson could be in line for more usage against the Bulls if Simons is out Sunday.
  • POR Small Forward #8
Deni Avdija (right ankle sprain) is probable for Sunday’s game against the Bulls.
Avdija has missed Portland’s last three games, most recently sitting out Saturday’s loss to the Rockets. If cleared, he’ll provide the Blazers with added depth on the wing, likely as a reserve. Jerami Grant returned from a facial contusion on Saturday after missing nine games, and he is not on Sunday’s injury report. Avdija’s fantasy value takes a hit coming off the bench, but he’s a player who standard league managers need to hold onto.
