Anthony Davis posted a full line on Monday with 19 points (7-of-14 FGs, 4-of-8 FTs), 10 rebounds, six assists, two steals, two blocks and one 3-pointer against the Pistons.
AD’s scoring has been down over their last few games, but that hasn’t prevented him from making his mark in 9-cat leagues. He didn’t have a great night from the free throw line in this one, which resulted in him scoring less than 20 points for the second straight game and for the seventh time this season. Still, AD has been one of the best players in fantasy basketball this season, and a few subpar scoring nights won’t change that. He’ll look to get back on track in the scoring department against the Warriors on Christmas Day.

The Cavaliers will start Darius Garland, Donovan Mitchell, Dean Wade, Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen against Indiana on Sunday.
Despite previous reports that Strus would return to the starting lineup for the first time this season, recent updates indicate that won’t be the case quite yet. Strus has seen his minutes increase, and he has been playing well, so a move into the starting unit likely isn’t far off. It just won’t be Sunday.
  • MEM Center #30
Jay Huff (left knee soreness) is probable to play against the Rockets on Monday.
  • MIL Small Forward #22
Khris Middleton logged 25 minutes in Sunday’s loss to the Knicks, tallying 16 points (7-of-9 FGs), five assists, two steals, and two 3-pointers.
  • MIL Point Guard #0
Damian Lillard shot 8-of-17 from the field and 4-of-5 from the foul line in Sunday’s loss to New York, accumulating 22 points, three rebounds, five assists, one steal, and two 3-pointers in 37 minutes.
  • MIL Power Forward #34
Giannis Antetokounmpo finished Sunday’s loss to the Knicks with 24 points (10-of-21 FGs, 4-of-10 FTs), 13 rebounds, two assists, and one blocked shot in 31 minutes.
  • NYK Shooting Guard #3
Josh Hart made all five of his shots in Sunday’s win over Milwaukee, scoring 11 points with 11 rebounds, four assists, one steal, and one 3-pointer in 35 minutes.
  • NYK Power Forward #32
Karl-Anthony Towns logged 36 minutes in Sunday’s 140-106 beating of the Bucks, tallying 30 points (10-of-16 FGs, 8-of-9 FTs), 18 rebounds, four assists, one steal, and two 3-pointers.
Towns recorded another 30-point double-double on Sunday, his 13th of the season. He’s been everything the Knicks hoped he would be when they acquired him, and KAT has exceeded the expectations for him in fantasy basketball based on his Yahoo ADP (20). New York plays three games during Week 12, beginning with the Pistons on Monday. Even with the Knicks finishing their weekly schedule on Friday, Towns’ fantasy value should not be impacted negatively.
  • NYK Point Guard #11
Jalen Brunson (right shoulder injury) finished Sunday’s 140-106 win over Milwaukee with 44 points (16-of-26 FGs, 7-of-8 FTs), five rebounds, six assists, one steal, and five 3-pointers in 29 minutes.
Nothing would keep Brunson from redeeming himself after he and the Knicks played poorly in Friday’s home loss to the Thunder. Not even his right shoulder, which the Knicks captain injured during the third quarter of Sunday’s blowout win. Brunson came out hot, establishing a career-high for points in a quarter when he dropped 23 in the first. He picked up where he left off after returning from the shoulder injury, surpassing the 40-point mark for the second time this season. Fantasy managers should consider Brunson questionable for Monday’s game against the Pistons. If he cannot play, Miles McBride will be the “next man up.”
  • DAL Point Guard #26
Spencer Dinwiddie recorded a double-double on Sunday with 16 points (4-of-13 FGs, 8-of-10 FTs), four rebounds, 10 assists and one steal against Denver.
With both Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving still sidelined, Dinwiddie was once again able to turn in strong numbers as a starter. He had a rough shooting night, but he made up for it by recording his first double-double of the season. Dinwiddie hasn’t been able to provide reliable value this season, but he has seen an uptick in stats as a starter, specifically as a dime dropper. Though he may not shoot the ball well, Dinwiddie should continue to provide enough value across the board to be worth streaming, especially with a four-game week coming up.
  • BKN Small Forward #0
Dariq Whitehead (concussion protocol) is available for Sunday’s game against the Jazz.
Whitehead has only appeared in five games this season, so his presence is unlikely to impact fantasy basketball. However, with the Nets lacking multiple rotation players, he’s likely to get some playing time against the Jazz. Deep-league managers should watch Whitehead with an eye toward the “silly season,” as the Nets are unlikely to reach the postseason.
