Desmond Bane amassed 23 points (7-of-12 FGs, 5-of-5 FTs), five rebounds, eight assists, four steals, and four 3-pointers in 27 minutes in Saturday’s win over Atlanta.
After scoring 22 points on 9-of-17 shooting in wins over the Lakers and Warriors, Bane pumped in 23 on Saturday night. The scoring production hasn’t been what fantasy managers expected, so he’s ranked just outside the top 75 in 9-cat formats. However, the improved assist production is one reason Bane has been a 1st-round player over the past two weeks. Fantasy managers who have him rostered should remain patient, especially with the Grizzlies playing four games in Week 9.
