Jordan Poole led Washington with 27 points (7-of-15 FGs, 8-of-10 FTs), three rebounds, four assists, two steals, two blocks and five 3-pointers in a 123-114 win over Charlotte on Thursday.
Poole did a little bit of everything in this game to help Washington secure their fourth win of the season. Poole continues to be a fantasy stud every night after having a terrible year in his first season with the Wizards. He has averaged a career-high 1.7 steals per game this year, which has been a nice boost to his fantasy production. However, he was able to provide some blocks in this game as well as he turned in one of his best lines of the year. He’ll look to close out the week with a strong performance in Milwaukee on Saturday, where he scored 31 points in a loss last month.
  • WAS Power Forward #16

Anthony Gill (nasal contusion) is questionable for Monday’s game against New York.
Gill’s availability does not impact fantasy basketball, as he is on the back end of the rotation on most nights.
  • MEM Center #14
Zach Edey (concussion protocol) has been ruled out for Sunday’s matchup with Oklahoma City.
Edey wasn’t on the initial injury report, but he has been ruled out for this game about 90 minutes prior to tipoff. It wouldn’t be surprising if he remained out for Tuesday’s matchup with the Suns too, since a concussion isn’t typically a one-game absence. Brandon Clarke should get the start at center, with Jay Huff coming off the bench.
  • WAS Shooting Guard #13
Jordan Poole (left hip contusion) is questionable for Monday’s game against New York.
Poole did not play in Saturday’s overtime loss to the Knicks, resulting in Malcolm Brogdon moving into the starting lineup. Brogdon will get another start if Poole remains out and is worth rostering in deep leagues.
  • WAS Power Forward #33
Kyle Kuzma (left rib sprain) is not on the injury report ahead of Monday’s matchup with the Knicks.
Kuzma has been sidelined for over a month, but he should be back for this game, barring some sort of mistake with the injury report. Justin Champagnie had a fantastic game against New York on Saturday, but he will likely be pushed to the bench with Kuzma back.
  • BKN Small Forward #2
Cameron Johnson (left hip soreness) will not return to Sunday’s game against the Magic.
Johnson entered Sunday’s game dealing with a right hip contusion, but the left hip ended his afternoon prematurely. The Nets wing finished with nine points, three rebounds, three assists, and two 3-pointers in 25 minutes. Tyrese Martin will pick up a few more rotation minutes, but he is not a must-add if Johnson misses additional time.
  • HOU Small Forward #8
Jae’Sean Tate (illness) is out for Sunday’s game against Miami.
Tate, who has averaged a little over 15 minutes per appearance in Houston’s last four games, will not be available to provide depth off the bench. Dillon Brooks’ return will help with the numbers, so Tate was likely in for a decrease in playing time if available.
  • HOU Shooting Guard #9
Dillon Brooks (right ankle effusion) will play against Miami on Sunday.
Brooks will be back in the lineup after missing Houston’s last three games. Ament Thompson has thrived as a starter in his place, but he will likely return to playing his typical role off the bench, which is still enough time for him to impact fantasy basketball.
  • CHA Small Forward #11
Cody Martin (left knee soreness) is doubtful for Monday’s game against the Bulls.
Martin did not play in Saturday’s loss to the Thunder, missing an opportunity to start because Brandon Miller (ankle) was also sidelined. Seth Curry will likely get another start, as both players are considered doubtful for Monday.
  • CHA Point Guard #1
LaMelo Ball (left ankle, right and wrist soreness) is listed as doubtful to play against the Bulls on Monday.
LaMelo is expected to miss a second straight game due to soreness in both his ankle and wrist. Vasilije Micic logged 29 minutes as a starter in his place in their loss to the Thunder on Saturday and should provide solid assist numbers in this game.
  • CHA Small Forward #24
Brandon Miller (left ankle sprain) is doubtful for Monday’s game against Chicago.
Miller’s sprained ankle has kept him out of four of Charlotte’s last five games, most recently Saturday’s loss to Oklahoma City. Seth Curry started against the Thunder and may get another start on Monday, as the Hornets are unlikely to have Cody Martin.
