Rotoworld

  • SAS Point Guard #33
Personalize your Rotoworld feed by favoriting players
Tre Jones (left shoulder sprain) is listed as active for Thursday’s Spurs-Hawks game.
Jones is set to return from a six-game layoff. The Spurs guard has been in and out of the lineup due to a string of injuries and is looking to establish himself in a bench role. He’ll have to get past Stephon Castle on the depth chart to make his mark, though.
  • LAL Small Forward #23
Personalize your Rotoworld feed by favoriting players
LeBron James (left foot injury management) is expected to play in Thursday’s game against the Kings.
Initially questionable for Thursday’s contest, James is trending toward being available. Gabe Vincent would remain in a reserve role, removing most of his value as a potential fantasy streamer.
  • CHI Shooting Guard #3
Josh Giddey (right ankle sprain) is out for Thursday’s game against the Celtics.
Giddey will miss at least one game after injuring his ankle during Monday’s win over the Raptors. While he has progressed in his recovery, the Bulls guard has not resumed running. Coby White, Ayo Dosunmu, and Lonzo Ball will all receive boosts to their fantasy values, while Talen Horton-Tucker should play more minutes off the bench.
  • CHI Shooting Guard #25
Dalen Terry (right knee contusion) has been downgraded to out for Thursday’s matchup with the Celtics.
Terry was initially listed as questionable for this game, but he will be sidelined for a third straight game. Julian Phillips and Matas Buzelis may see a few extra minutes in his absence, but there won’t be any major fantasy implications from this.
  • BOS Power Forward #26
Xavier Tillman (illness) will not play in Thursday’s game against the Bulls.
Tillman’s absence will not significantly impact the Celtics’ rotation or fantasy basketball, as the team’s other bigs are available to play. Al Horford, Luke Kornet, and Neemias Questa are all available to supplement Kristaps Porzingis.
  • CHA Small Forward #24
Brandon Miller (left ankle sprain) has been ruled out for Thursday’s Hornets-Wizards game.
Miller has been ruled out after scoring just 12 points in his last outing against the 76ers. That performance brought his streak of games with at least 20 points to an end at 12. The second-year wing could be replaced by Vasilije Micic in the starting lineup.
  • BOS Small Forward #30
Sam Hauser (low back spasms) has been ruled out for Thursday’s game against the Bulls.
Hauser was initially listed as questionable for this game but has officially been downgraded to out. Payton Pritchard should see extra minutes off the bench with Hauser out, but with the rest of their typical rotation players available, nobody else will see a significant boost in minutes.
  • BOS Power Forward #8
Kristaps Porzingis (right heel soreness) is listed as active for Thursday’s Celtics-Bulls game.
Porzingis is back in action after logging just 11 minutes in his last outing. He practiced ahead of Thursday and Boston is comfortable with him testing things out. It’s unclear whether he’ll handle his usual workload, though.
  • TOR Point Guard #45
Davion Mitchell (right shoulder strain) has been ruled out for Thursday’s game against the Nets.
A few hours after Mitchell was announced as questionable for Thursday’s game, he has been officially ruled out. With Scottie Barnes returning from a sprained ankle, Mitchell’s absence will have a minimal impact on fantasy basketball. Jamal Shead may pick up a few more minutes, but he is not worth streaming in this spot.
  • BKN Power Forward #9
Trendon Watford (left hamstring soreness) is set to miss at least one week for the Brooklyn
It appears like Watford is set to miss at least four games due to his hamstring tightness. Noah Clowney will be among the players who’ll get more of a chance to dominate reserve forward minutes while he recovers.
  • TOR Small Forward #4
Scottie Barnes (right ankle sprain) will play against Brooklyn on Thursday.
Barnes will only end up missing two games despite seemingly suffering a serious ankle injury. They have avoided catastrophe, and Barnes should be back in the starting unit for this game, which will push rookie Jonathan Mogbo back to the bench.
