Jakob Poeltl (groin) won’t return to Monday’s game against the Bulls.
Poeltl injured his groin when he planted his foot on defense in the second half against the Bulls Monday. He ended up doing the splits, almost as if there was a wet spot on the floor. Poeltl headed to the locker room and was quickly ruled out so he could be down for at least another game or two in the future.

Kris Dunn was ejected from Thursday’s game against the Mavericks after picking up a Flagrant 2 foul during the third quarter.
Dunn committed a Flagrant 2 foul on Jazian Gortman with 5:32 remaining in the period, receiving his marching orders. The Clippers guard played 25 minutes, finishing with three points (1-of-5 FGs), one rebound, six assists, one steal, and one 3-pointer.
  • NOP Center #21
Yves Missi recorded a double-double on Thursday with 11 points (5-of-8 FGs), 10 rebounds and one assist against the Rockets.
Missi recorded his seventh double-double of the season in this game, which leads all rookies. Missi wasn’t able to get a block in this game, but he has been able to consistently make an impact in the typical big man stats for most of the season. He has been a top-100 players over the past two weeks but is somehow still available in 62% of Yahoo leagues. He will continue to be their starting center for the rest of the season, which means that he’ll continue to provide double-doubles, blocks and a sky high field goal percentage.
  • HOU Shooting Guard #9
Dillon Brooks lit up the Pelicans with 26 points (10-of-16 FGs), seven rebounds, two assists, one steal and six 3-pointers on Thursday.
Brooks didn’t do much scoring after the break, but he made a huge impact early on. He scored 20 of his 26 points in the first half, which helped Houston take a 14-point lead into halftime. Despite being an elite defender, Brooks isn’t able to get enough defensive stats to contribute in 9-cat leagues. Nights like this are great, but they certainly haven’t been the norm for him. Brooks isn’t worth adding off the waiver wire in standard leagues, even if he played well in this game.
  • NOP Small Forward #2
Herbert Jones lit up Houston with 20 points (6-of-14 FGs), two rebounds, two assists and four 3-pointers on Thursday.
Since returning from an extended absence with a shoulder injury, Jones has been much more involved on offense. He scored at least 20 points just three times last season, but he has reached that mark twice in the six games since returning. He has had to shoulder more of the offensive workload due to the injuries to Brandon Ingram and Zion Williamson, but it also helps having Dejounte Murray to run the offense. Jones didn’t get any defensive stats in this game, but that was the first time that has happened this season, so it isn’t that he has had to sacrifice on that end to supply offense.
  • TOR Shooting Guard #1
Gradey Dick posted 19 points (6-of-14 FGs, 3-of-4 FTs), six rebounds, two assists, an assist, a steal, and four three-pointers against the Nets on Thursday.
Dick has now scored at least 19 points in four of his previous five contests. The second-year wing has more than doubled his point production from last season and is on track to retain his current role while the Raptors rebuild.
  • TOR Small Forward #30
Ochai Agbaji scored 20 points (8-of-16 FGs) to go along with five rebounds, an assist, a steal, and four three-pointers against the Nets.
Agabji took full advantage of RJ Barrett’s absence on Thursday. He reached 20 poinrs for just the fourth time this season and led all Raptors in shot attempts. It’ll be hard for him to match this production with Barrett available, though.
  • WAS Shooting Guard #13
Jordan Poole led Washington with 27 points (7-of-15 FGs, 8-of-10 FTs), three rebounds, four assists, two steals, two blocks and five 3-pointers in a 123-114 win over Charlotte on Thursday.
Poole did a little bit of everything in this game to help Washington secure their fourth win of the season. Poole continues to be a fantasy stud every night after having a terrible year in his first season with the Wizards. He has averaged a career-high 1.7 steals per game this year, which has been a nice boost to his fantasy production. However, he was able to provide some blocks in this game as well as he turned in one of his best lines of the year. He’ll look to close out the week with a strong performance in Milwaukee on Saturday, where he scored 31 points in a loss last month.
  • BKN Point Guard #10
Ben Simmons notched 12 points (5-of-9 FGs, 2-of-3 FTs) with five rebounds and seven assists against the Raptors.
Simmons paced Brooklyn in assists once again with Dennis Schroder is our of the picture. He’s been a double-digit scorer in each of his last two games and could be free to open up a little more of his own offense as the Nets’ primary playmaker while Cam Thomas is recovering.
  • CHA Point Guard #30
Seth Curry got the start on Thursday and contributed eight points (3-of-9 FGs), four rebounds, three assists, three steals and two 3-pointers against Washington.
Curry got his first start since November 1st in this game, but it’s clear that managers don’t need to worry about streaming him in. Though he played well, Curry can’t be relied on for anything but 3-pointers. The assists and steals were a nice boost in this game, but that shouldn’t be the expectation. He tied his season-high for steals and set a new season-high for dimes on Thursday night. It’s great to see Curry playing well in 2024, but he should be left on the waiver wire.
  • BOS Point Guard #9
Derrick White produced a stat line of 16 points (5-of-14 FGs, 3-of-3 FTs), eight rebounds, four assists, one steal, two blocks, and three 3-pointers in 36 minutes in Thursday’s loss to the Bulls.
Another game, another complete stat line for White, who has recorded one in four straight and five of his last six outings. Over the past two weeks, he has provided 3rd-round per-game value in 8- and 9-cat formats, sitting just outside the top 25 in the latter. With Jrue Holiday’s production tailing off, White is of added importance to the Celtics and fantasy managers who have him rostered. Holiday finished Thursday’s loss with six points (3-of-8 FGs), one rebound, four assists, one steal, and one blocked shot in 29 minutes.
