Evan Mobley (left ankle sprain) logged 23 minutes in Monday’s 130-101 win over Brooklyn, recording a stat line of 21 points (7-of-9 FGs, 6-of-6 FTs), five rebounds, two assists, one steal, and one 3-pointer.
Mobley returned to the Cavaliers lineup on Monday after sitting out Friday’s win over the Wizards, pushing Dean Wade (three points, seven rebounds, one steal, one block, and one 3-pointer in 22 minutes) to the bench. The nature of Monday’s game meant there was no moment where Cleveland needed to push Mobley, who did not play at all during the fourth quarter. Cleveland’s final two games of Week 8, Milwaukee on Friday and Philadelphia the following night, should be more challenging.
