Jerami Grant shot 12-of-19 from the field in Friday’s 118-116 loss to the Spurs, scoring 30 points with four rebounds, two assists, one steal, and eight 3-pointers in 38 minutes.
After a five-point first half, Grant caught fire in the third quarter. Shooting 6-of-7 from three and 8-of-10 from the field overall, he scored 22 points on the frame, establishing career-highs for points and 3-pointers in a quarter. Grant may not provide consistent value in other essential categories in fantasy basketball, but he can put up points and 3-pointers. He’s ranked just outside the top 100 in 9-cat formats for the season. Portland finishes its week with a game in Phoenix on Sunday.
  • CHI Small Forward #13

Torrey Craig (right lower leg contusion) is doubtful for Saturday’s game against the Knicks.
Craig isn’t likely to return from a one-game layoff against the Knicks. The Bulls wing has appeared in just nine games this season. His presence or absence shouldn’t affect fantasy basketball significantly.
  • PHI Small Forward #9
Kelly Oubre Jr. (left hand sprain) is listed as doubtful for Saturday’s 76ers-Nets game.
Oubre appears likely to miss a third straight game to kick off the weekend. Kyle Lowry has been filling in for him as of late as a starter and could continue to do so against Brooklyn.
  • PHI Center #21
Joel Embiid (left foot sprain) is listed as questionable for Saturday’s 76ers-Nets game.
Embiid didn’t play against the Kings earlier this week and isn’t feeling 100% after matchup up with the Warriors on Thursday. Andre Drummond will likely get another spot start at center if Embiid is ruled out.
  • LAL Point Guard #7
Gabe Vincent (left oblique strain) has been ruled out for Fridays Lakers-Hawks game.
Vincent will miss a third straight game after suffering an oblique injury against the Kings. Max Christie and Shake Milton have a chance to step up during his absence.
  • LAL Small Forward #23
LeBron James (injury management) and Anthony Davis (left ankle sprain) are listed as probable for Fridays Hawks-Lakers matchup.
Both the Lakers’ stars are likely to play against the Hawks ahead of the weekend. They each missed games in December but there’s been no indication that they wont take on their usual workloads against Atlanta.
  • OKC Shooting Guard #9
Alex Caruso (left hip strain) has been ruled out for Friday’s Thunder-Knicks game.
Caruso will miss his sixth straight game on Friday. Aaron Wiggins and Ajay Mitchell are among the players who’ve received a surge in playing time during Caruso’s absence and they’ll likely continue to do so.
  • BOS Center #42
Al Horford (rest) has been ruled out for Friday’s Celtics-Rockets game.
This is business as usual, as Horford hasn’t been expected to play in the second leg of back-to-bacs. Neemieas Queta and Luke Kornet will likely split the bulk of the center minutes while Horford is out.
  • BOS Small Forward #7
Jaylen Brown (right shoulder strain) and Kristaps Porzingis (left ankle sprain) are listed as questionable for Friday’s Celtics-Rockets matchup.
Brown missed the Celtics’ last game while Porzingis has missed four consecutive games. Payton Pritchard will be asked to take on more offensive responsibility if Brown sits. Neemias Queta and Luke Kornet split backup center minutes at center.
  • Jeremiah Robinson-Earl (left ankle sprain) is listed as active for Fridays Pelicans-Wizards game.
Robinson-Earl will return from at two-game layoff ahead of the weekend. He had a few solid stat lines in his injury-riddled December, but his return to the hardwood doesn’t make him worth streaming.
  • SAC Point Guard #22
Devin Carter (left shoulder surgery) is listed as active for Friday’s Kings-Grizzlies game.
The No. 13 pick from the 2024 NBA Draft is set to make his pro debut. The Providence product will get a chance to contribute to Sacramento’s backcourt rotation, but there’s plenty of competition ahead of him. Fantasy managers shouldn’t expect much from the rookie early on.
