Rotoworld

  • POR Small Forward #33

Toumani Camara (right foot injury) will not return to Friday’s game against the Jazz.
Camara played eight minutes before exiting Friday’s game during the first half. His absence frees up additional minutes for Deni Avdija, who started the third quarter in Camara’s absence. Avdija is already rostered in 69% of Yahoo leagues, so an extended absence for Camara would make him a viable option in shallow leagues.
  • DAL Point Guard #77

Luka Doncic (left heel contusion) will remain out for Saturday’s game against the Clippers.
With Kyrie Irving also sidelined, the Mavericks started Spencer Dinwiddie and Quentin Grimes in the backcourt for Thursday’s loss to the Clippers. Irving will be available for Saturday’s rematch, which should leave Grimes in the starting lineup as Doncic’s replacement. Dinwiddie will also figure more prominently in the rotation and is worth streaming in deep leagues.
  • CHI Shooting Guard #25
Dalen Terry (right knee contusion) is questionable for Saturday’s game against the Celtics.
Terry has missed Chicago’s last three games, most recently sitting out Thursday’s win over the Celtics in Boston. His availability will not impact fantasy basketball, as he’s usually on the back end of the rotation when healthy.
  • CHI Shooting Guard #3
Josh Giddey (right ankle sprain) is questionable for Saturday’s game against the Celtics.
Giddey was injured during Monday’s win over the Raptors and did not play in Thursday’s win over Boston. While he expressed a desire to return on Monday when the Bulls face the Bucks, he may be back sooner. As well as Ayo Dosunmu has played this season, Patrick Williams may be whose fantasy value takes a more significant hit when Giddey returns.
  • UTA Point Guard #3
Keyonte George (ankle sprain) is questionable for Saturday’s game against the Nets.
George sprained his ankle during the third quarter of Thursday’s win over the Pistons, exiting briefly before returning to action late in the period. If he cannot play in Brooklyn, there would be rotation minutes available to rookie Isaiah Collier. Collier is currently with Utah’s G League affiliate and is also questionable for Saturday. He would not be worth streaming if George doesn’t play.
  • MEM Center #30
Jay Huff (right ankle sprain) is out for Saturday’s game against the Hawks.
Huff’s absence will not impact fantasy basketball, as he was unlikely to be in the rotation if healthy. In addition to Zach Edey’s recent return, the Grizzlies have Brandon Clarke and Santi Aldama playing quality minutes off the bench.
  • MEM Point Guard #12
Ja Morant (low back soreness) is doubtful for Saturday’s game against the Hawks.
Already dealing with lower back soreness, Morant aggravated the issue when he fell hard during the third quarter of Thursday’s rout of the Warriors. There was no need for him to return then, and the Grizzlies will likely be without their starting point guard on Saturday. Scotty Pippen Jr. will move into the starting lineup if Morant cannot play. He’s worth streaming in that role.
  • MEM Point Guard #36
Marcus Smart (left shoulder soreness) is questionable for Saturday’s game against the Hawks.
Smart did not play in Thursday’s win over the Warriors, resulting in more playing time for fellow reserve Luke Kennard. If Smart cannot play against the Hawks, that would remain the case, but Kennard offers limited value as a streamer.
  • ATL Point Guard #11
Trae Young (left heel contusion) is questionable for Saturday’s game against the Grizzlies.
Young has consistently shown up on recent injury reports, but that was due to lingering tendinitis in his right Achilles tendon. This heel injury is a different situation, so his status for Saturday appears to be in some question. With Kobe Bufkin done for the season, Vit Krejci will figure more prominently in the rotation if Young is limited or cannot play.
  • GSW Small Forward #4
Moses Moody (left patellar tendinopathy) participated in Friday’s practice.
Moody has missed the Warriors’ last three games, most recently sitting out Thursday’s loss to the Grizzlies. His participation in Friday’s practice means he should be considered probable for Saturday’s game against the Timberwolves. Moody hasn’t provided reliable fantasy value this season, and that’s unlikely to change if he plays.
  • ORL Point Guard #4
Jalen Suggs (right ankle sprain) is probable for Saturday’s game against the Heat.
Suggs was injured during Thursday’s loss to the Thunder. While he returned to action, it didn’t take long for Magic coach Jamahl Mosley to remove his starting point guard from the game as he was uncomfortable playing on the injured leg. The good news is that Suggs is probable on the initial injury report, meaning he’s on track to remain the team’s starting point guard on Saturday. Anthony Black and Cole Anthony will absorb the available minutes if he cannot play.
